Amazing how that motor holds together to produce that much power. I'd think the tricky part is how to get all that power to the ground where it can be used.

In the racing he does (No prep), you can't use all of that power. It's more about tuning, to the ever changing conditions, than raw power. Building the engine that strong is essential, because you'll never see max power, so it'll last longer before needing a refresh. Remember these guys race and multiple venues (Like the NHRA guys), so they need combos that run and run hard for a long time between rebuilds

Needs that new precision 146mm. Power curve is pretty flat once it peaks. Good for no prep but I think the motor can hold more if it can be force fed it.

Larson did my buddies chassis on his multi time drag week winning car and he can build some shit. He is going to do a 25.5 chassis in my new 88 Monte SS build.

That looks like some industrial engine pulled out of some excavator or earthmover.

It's a specifically built turbo for him, by a diesel turbo builder, trying to get into performance gas applications. Larson is trying to take advantage, of the single turbo weight break over twins. He tried this on his truck as well, but it was a true diesel turbo. it did well but this is a special built turbo specific for large gas engines

I have it a thumbs up for letting us hear the pulls at least. How about stop the music(too loud) and tell about the motor, fuel tech fuel system and size of turbo. Huge is a description, it would be nice to hear about the size and boost it's putting out. Going over 3000 hp it has to be pushing alot. Besides all that good video. Just being picky

It's a different car. Setups aren't the same. It sucks to make all the changes to go back and forth. It's why Mills teamed up with Pharris to run no prep with a new car. It was Mills new car with a motor from Pharris.

Idk im sure that turbo can make more than enough boost to make up for it.. and they can allways give it alittle spray to make it spool.. wouldnt be surprised if he doesn't already.. thats a big turbo to spool in a few seconds at the line if not..

I noticed that, I'm always bemused when a finely balanced bit of metal is damaged like that, as the imbalance must hurt it's reliability and service life. Doesn't seem to hurt the car's performance, though :-).

It's a factory car it has all the steal parts pay panel you find on a factory car the only thing that is carbon fiber is the hood that Cadillac put on it at the factory
