Sound cutoff is a known issue and we're working on an update with a fix :) As for The Verdict - it gets stronger as you last hit enemies with execute so it's ridiculously OP atm :)

I wonder...with The Verdict, could you just swing it at nothing in between kills to ensure the Execute hit always kills? It looked like it was building up on its icon even when you didn't hit anything.

I like everything about this game except the combat which is god awful. Unfortunately, it's very boring to play.
