So I was extremely close to purchasing a salvages Mclaren 720 about 2 years back. I believe that the price got as low as $112,000. Despite having the available funds for purchase at the time, and the damage not being terrible I ultimately ended up pussying out 😆 The reality is that I’m not a mechanic and most likely would’ve ended up way over my head. Now that I can look back and reflect on the situation I was also most likely underestimating how much it would’ve cost in parts to fix as well. Although the car market shot up through the roof do to COVID this deal isn’t one I have a lot of regret about. I would’ve probably been lucky to break even if I would’ve fixed it, turned it into a Rebuilt Title and ever sold it down the line at best.
