On a side note, another loud intake is the Agency Power. I LOVE mine! Sounds great on my '16 340i, but it's nowhere as loud as the MST..... Would sound even better with spacers, though.

Man I installed an afe momentum on my f30 n20 and man it feels great, the car feels peppier and just feels great but I don’t hear anything. I like the afe intake and not really looking to spend on another one but I wish I had some noise. I thought it would be less noise but I don’t hear anything at all, guess I have to look into a diverter valve

Does the MST intake have a turbo inlet upgrade available? This seems to only replace the top part of the intake. This is why I went with BMW elite with upgraded inlet. The stock inlet also has a resonator which I wanted to delete for even more sound

Keys. And chance you have those gray clips on the connector that plugs into MAF sensor. Mine flew into the engine bay before watching how a video of yours and learning it must be pressed

ANY time you are unplugging a sensor (MAF, IAT, etc.), it is always a good idea to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery to prevent any damage to the electrical system from short circuit. Better to be safe than replace a $200+ sensor, or more, unnecessarily 😉👍

Hey thats a big myth. The way the B58 is Set up is to Not Need a catch can. You just Need to replace the Membrane if its Broken. If you install a catch can you only get a high Oil consumption. Dont put a catch can on a b58. Its of Course different with other Motors but Not with the b58. Sorry for my english, im German. Hope i could help you

yes its the same engine and engine bay, it will also probably sound even better on the m40 because of the more hp, and if you want to have the best sound you can get out of a b58, get an intake, blow off valve with charge pipe and full system exhaust with downpipe

I know I'm a little late with the reply but it is highly recommended to change your downpipe. That's pretty much the only mod you need for stage 1.

I think there’s a lot of other contributing factors man the size of your turbo how much boost you’re making how your tune is set up your charge pipe your downpipe I think they all kind of come in to play. Mine sounds like his, but all of the parts I mentioned have been upgraded I also have a Vargas GC turbo making 26psi

I have one on a totally stock 2022 340i and it's loud with the windows down, not so much with them up but that's really just because of how good the insulation is in these cars. Lots of whoosh and very noticeable flutter when you let off at high boost. It's borderline too much for me though to be honest, ever so slightly chavvy.
