@@Jason.cbr1000rr - flash was not needed, it sounds amazing whenever air intake was aggressive, naturally more fun more sound in sports mode than comfort. Flash will increase it even further in each respective more.. After 2 years, I still can't get enough of that sound. Only other best intake I have experienced was Ford Focus RS.

I have a 2015 428i m sport. Depends how much you press it. It’s a turbo so the more you press the more you use.

Antonio Kutleša I let my car warm up pretty good on just reg. Then after a while I turn it up to sport on the freeway. Once I get to the city I put it to sport + just because I want those extra pops & extra power w no traction.

Bro thanks so much for this video I just installed mine. The only thing that gave me an issue was the vacuum hose believe it or not. The hole was too small and so I have to make it bigger with a screwdriver to fit. I got worried because when I unplugged it initially I wasn’t sure if i did it right I just pulled it off and it felt like I broke something. Let me know what you think. I’m just hoping that now my check engine light comes on but I made sure it fit snug after threading the inside which didn’t look like a regular hose it was light grey(not sure if a part of the piece that it was on broke inside ) thanks for the help in advance.

that is the turbo you hear but with the aftermarket intake it is amplified. It sounds a lot better with the intake. You can hear the turbo sound even with the hood closed!

So the intake won’t make the startup sound any different But it will give you a way nicer turbo sound when you let go of the throttle

Yes if you are to get a downpipe and a tune you can gain anywhere from 40-60 HP. A common tune that I always here about is the Bootmod3. That’ll definitely give you some power gains.

No I never ran into that man . Make sure you don’t have a leak somewhere and your clamps are secure

I have a 2014 BMW 428i and the cold air intake is called Injen. It should not have a negative affect on your car. If anything it should make the car breathe better.

No this shouldn’t throw a check engine light. Make sure to check your connections and make sure they are secure and you have know intake leaks

Yeah when I switched the air intake I tuned the car. I was never worried about running lean though. The stock intake for BMW is made really well so the aftermarket one is more for the sound anyway. Not really for the performance

I didn’t have warranty when I installed mine but it shouldn’t void your warranty. Really it all depends on if something happens to your car they could blame that but it’s really case by case and whether or not your particular dealership will void it or not

I've made custom intakes super charger kit's exhaust systems from scratch. The reason I love watching these videos .first thing is the person installing it makes me laugh. Then the fact that there paying ridiculous money fir a cheap kit that does nothing. Then there explanation on how to install it is so funny. If you want real hp. Get a tune and eliminate your mass air. Doing a tune is cheaper. It's all done with a laptop.
