Jay, your chats in your kitchen are spectacular. You are so genuine and your stories of the past make me nostalgic for my youth as well. I am 1 year older than you, so everything you talk about resonates with me deeply. The stories about your family remind me of my huge Italian family from back in the "old days". As you guys discussed, it just isn't the same anymore. Thanks for sharing and reminiscing!

I started babysitting when I was 12 and was an aunt at 16, so I was around kids babysitting all my early years. When I finally got married and the children subject came up I never had the desire. I was over being with kids. Jay I fully know where you are coming from passing on becoming a parent

Thanks Jay and Dave for another great video. Last time I was in a packed movie theatre was when I used to take my son to the movie theatre to watch WWE's Wrestlemania and Summer Slam. It was great, a couple hundred maniacs, and us cheering on our favorites. My wife actually watched part of this video with me when you were walking because I thought she would get a kick out of seeing the beautiful houses in the background as you walked along. We both think it would be cool to see a Jay walking video at night to see how the houses look all lit up in the dark. Thanks again for your content, your motivation and inspiration.

The jay cutler from the early 2000s reminded me of the Terminator. Especially during training mode. Didn't say a whole lot on camera ( not a full sentence anyway). The mental focus was locked in tight. Retirement jay is just as interesting. I'm learning a lot from you without asking questions. Great video🫡

First - Happy early B-Day (8/3) !! I first met you at Monica Brants BodyRock In VA (Many moons ago). I recall you were sitting right inside the main doors on a bench. I studied your routine and mimicked you as closely as I could. So saying you were a "volume" guy is right on the money. Now, at an age slightly older than you I find it very difficult to keep the volume as high. My rep ranges are in the 8-12 range but my volume is between 12-15 sets total. Being on a sane HRT amount I just cannot do what I used to. What does your day-to-day recovery look like ? Ice baths ? Aminos ? Rest, for sure, but I find my joints (ligaments and connective tissue) just linger with soreness keeping me stiff. I have to do a very light cardio warmup every day in the gym just to loosen up ... any tips for a fellow "almost" senior ? :).
