Matt Cremona made a good point how everyone complains about a Domino being so expensive but then they go buy a $1000 phone they have to replace in 2 or 3 years.

I just received mine after waiting for several years. My makita power tools are warily looking at these new festool systainers, but they'll soon realize that the new tools are just new members of my soon to be set up workshop in the new house. I haven't used it yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

I just use a slot cutter in my router table, cut over length slots in the pieces to join. Install biscuits & glue the pieces together, I have built many tables, box’s, cabinets I find it works great.

Superb! I would use walnut in the drawer faces or the handles to match it to the darker wood of the bed...but that is just MY opinion and these are YOUR nightstands...Enjoy!

Back in high school, we made speaker boxes that way. Instead of clamping during the glue up. We used ratchet straps all the way around.

I love the comments about the domino tool. I do agree that it is super expensive. But you could use a dowel, or a biscuit, or you could buy the festool if you are going to use it enough to make it worth it!

When I do french cleats and am worried about it popping off, I just hang another square piece on the wall and on the hanging piece at the bottom where the gap is less than the height of the cleat. That way, if you push up on the hanging thing, it'll bump the square piece and not come off the wally. To get it off, you have to pull slightly away from the wall, then push up. I hung a bunch of wrestling wall mats in my basement this way and all the slamming around never knocked one loose. Love the waterfall on those! Sometimes the grain is boring and the waterfall isn't very interesting, but these look great.
