INSANE Northern Lights show in South Dakota (05/11/24)

An extremely rare G5 #SolarStorm impacted the Earth on May 10-11, 2024 causing KP9 conditions which sent the #northernlights all the way down the Gulf of Mexico. The X-class #solarflares that generated the CME that caused the conditions were some of the strongest this solar cycle. This solar storm will go down as one of the strongest on record, and strongest since at least 2003.
