That sounds rude, but basically they add powders to a liquid to make the pearl, that's exactly what they're doing here, this channel has about 100 videos showing the process, what I was suggesting was they do what they did here, with their modern pigments.

I personaly dont like it because of many different colors you used. But can imagine it would look sick if you'd go with just blue-ish scheme. Different shades of blue, purple maybe white would make it look like one of those space photos.

I thought the same! But the effect seems stronger, to me anyway, at the micro level vs. macro. The macro loses a little something but the zooms are breathtaking. Northern Lights esque, even.

Would love to see something like this, but with various shades of blue and one soft iridescent pearl. Applied in overlapping widely dispersed throws (like the ones on the hood) for the blue, and the tighter more splatter like throws done in the iridescent. I think it could make the car look like water.

This got me thinking. Instead of tossing the pigment/pearls on, maybe try and hand held sand blaster with the pressure turned way down. Allowing you to fade and blend, could get a really cool space age galaxy like look I believe. I see a lot of potential here with this idea.

When you do the complete paint job, and you paint a hood, by the time you get to paint the trunk and all door black base gets dry, how the pain can absorb the powder when the pain is dry?

Reminds me of a nebula. Oooooh! Do something like this over that really black paint and then put sparkles over it so it REALLY looks like space. That green over the wheel even reminded me of a comet. Some of the yellows and greens also reminded me of an aurora. This has some cool artistic potential!

I thinking the Black base, deep purple, a little pink, the barker blue, with a little of the lighter blue... but instead of throwing it on, blow it on through a fan maybe, of a low powered leaf blower... all going in the same direction.... there's a few pleases that didn't get heavy impact spots and blended well, giving a nebulous cloud effect.
