But KZbin has chosen to have this extra process by which you can ask to have your personally identifiable information removed from a video. Both these things are true at the same time. Only after a privacy request comes in does anyone need to remove their image. Sean could fight it as KZbin should reject the privacy complaint if 'the information is otherwise public', so any footage that is also on cop body cam should have those requests rejected. Cops names, faces, numbers, and even most interactions are all available to the public through public records requests in the US. But it's generally easier to just blur and move on. The cop has nothing to lose and the person filming has everything to lose.
