Yes! As someone who has searched the world over for a Chrome Gloss Silver, This is as opaque as I've seen, as it needs to be a 'foam safe' Acrylic! Also, one still needs to be careful when refinishing, as they can still 'eat' at the foam surface!? 😢

I also have a high regard for the F-86. I wanted one for a while now, and this one is just my size (price). I look forward to getting into the newer jets that you have, the ones that dont need to have slow stalling speeds, but look scale with a long and high speed take off. You guys get the best planes, and i enjoy watching you fly them and review them.

Hey, enjoyed your review guys. The F-86 Sabre is the first model airplane I ever had. I remember saving up to buy the plastic model and putting it together. I did this myself without help from any adult - I really screwed it up. I put the model together and then glued all around the seams. I recall bringing it into the bathroom and running hot water over the model in hopes of getting it apart so I could start over again and glue it up the right way. Can't seem to remember anything else about that model, about 73-74 years have now passed, but it did get me into the modeling hobby, Aviation HS, NYC and Marine Corps (1962-1966) Aviation to eventually work on F4 Phantoms. This particular UMX model is much too fast for me. I'd like to see HH offer an OV-10 Bronco (USMC livery of course) as a UMX, a Micro or a Park Flyer up to 1200mm.

Yes, the RM Zorro is the best radio for thumbers, I have small hands but I have no problems reaching any switch or button during flight. They are harder to setup than Spektrum, but not to difficult for your standard model. And they are far cheaper than the NX7S that cant even "talk" to you.

I have the E-Flite SR-71, but I would love to see a UMX F-117, YF-23, or a mini B-2. I had the craptacular Tower Hobbies F-86 back in the day, and it made for a good static display, not so much as a flyer. I was really excited to see this release and can't wait for mine to ship!

This is definitely on my list. UMX makes the best performing micros. However, this one acts like it is a little too nose heavy. Big battery, won't hold inverted without a lot of down elevator, lands very fast and flat. A little work to move the CG back a little might make it an even better performer.

The NX8 would probably be your best realistically priced choice. Anything above that gets a tiny bit excessive and more expensive, but it greatly depends on how big of an airplane you’d be flying. Hope this helps! 👍💯😎⚓️

I think the reason they don't put retracts on their umx airplanes is because they charge so much for those umx servos. Three servos for the retracts would be an added $50 on top of the rest of the airplane at least

Great video and review as always 🎉😇. Abby did a terrific job on not losing this one on keeping in frame ( 2-3 times not bad at all) 👍. And also think she should take it up on a flight. ^_= 🤔🕵️😁 And what id like to see next in the line is the T-33. 😇😁 This particular aircraft design has known issues with it higher stall tendencies and low speed instabilities. In my opinion I'd rather have flaps over retracts, and stability over looks. Then again could just mix in flapperons as well. 😁 But that's just me 😅😋

Hi Nate. UMX pretty cool, but have a question. Before the bind, did you just bind out of the box, or did you do a full program setup? I thought with a bnf you had to do a full setup on the radio first, at least that's the process I'm seeing with other channels. Thanks.
