What a mighty arsenal of power-ups! I can't wait to try them all out, mainly the ones I haven't got a chance to use when I played the demo before. Plus, having more power-ups to drop behind you and such would be pretty nice also.

With the addition of healthbars, you may as well add Twisted Metal as one of your inspirations, especially once a battle mode is eventually introduced! Can't wait for the game's release!

Will you ever be able to dodge incoming attacks (other than only using shield or teleport)? While I was playing Prologue, enemy CPUs were constantly chaining 3 hits or more on me and knocking me down, and no matter how far or fast I was, they would always hit and kill my momentum. I feel like the ability to dodge by sheer skill made CTR: NF gameplay much more balanced in this aspect, even if 1 hit still knocked you out. I think an invincivility cooldown after hits would also help along with the health bar, since attacks seem to be inescapable (wtihout depending on a lucky defensive item drop), but I guess I'll have to wait for the full release to make sure how the actual experience is.

It would be cool to have an item you could carefully time to punt another player off the track but which doesn't do much/any damage if they don't get knocked off Some kind of item you can drop behind yourself to act as a trap (like the banana peel/chemical beaker) or to intercept incoming attacks would be cool too

One thing I would definitely change are the thumbnails for the items. They're surely great work, but squeezed like these are hard to recognize and memorize. Maybe driving the border lines would make em stand out more. Plus, to help the player know what kind of weapon he picked up, I would do what Lego Racers 1 did. The item's frame was colored based on the category. You could color the background according to Speed, Defense, Offense, or a Mixture of them. Lego Racers also used different colored 'boxes' to let you choice wisely what you wanted, but I think in Karters it's fine keeping the complete randomness. But i do insist... i think coloring the background of the thumbnail with a specific color, and reworking the picture of the weapon is something to work on

I hope this health can be turn off, the fun in CTR for me and my friends is seeing the rage of we attacking each other. Its fun when we had uka uka to attack. We often play in slit screen

missing an item like a banana peel on mario kart or ? explosive box and invisibility item, would be cool to add one or at least for battle mode if there is a battle mode :) you should also do a presale so we can maybe have an early bird discount for those who wanna support you
