That bewitching bubbles, plus evasion xl gene, plus wearing bloodbath armor has been coming in clutch for me. Does icicle have built in lower accuracy, cuz I feel like icicle has built in low accuracy, maybe cuz the random enemy effect, I have had opponents try to spam it and miss like 3/3 times with it.

Protect 101: Protect redirects all single target monster attacks, including single target kinship skills, toward the user and applies the guard effect. Note that it will not redirect rider attacks.

They don't work on soulseer in the co op quest. So maybe PvP different?

still need antiblind gene XL for pvp. for PVE Soulseer is immune to blind. It's obviously fair this way.

Close game dudes... Very entertaining Amazing match! You guys wasted too many turns petting though I reckon. I think pep talk and then attacking to get kinship is a better tactic. Higher crit would of also helped out too.

Hi, I put Pump Up and Protective Mask on Mizu and noticed something strange, if someone can confirm, I used Protective mask + Pet, then Pump Up + pet, when Pump Up happened it read "ineffective", next turn Mizu hit with Pump Up power and was glowing red but didn't seem to have a defense drop. Does Protective Mask negate defense/attack drops?

Protective mask negates all Negative Statuses, and as such, the "ineffective" you saw was the negation of the defense drop, but not the attack raise. Hope this helps.
