The other ones also have these giant charging bricks you have to haul around. The eco-flow just has the power cord and by the way that’s such a standard power cord all of my TVs in my old desktop computers running that same cord so you can buy those cords on Amazon for six bucks if you ever lose that one.

Just picked up the River Max which has the same inverter 600w with 1200 surge. Will do all I need when camping but for high draw devices like heaters, cooking appliances one of the Delta units would be the better bet. Tested a Delta with a 2000w fan heater and it worked fine with 45 min run time pulling 1800w. The larger units will be even better for home backup. My River Max will be used for charging phones, tablets, Go Pro, run LED lights, and Laptop whilst out and also for running the Laptop when on location photography jobs where no mains exists. Should do that no problem and with a 110w solar panel plus charging when driving I can't see me running the River Max down. Great bit of kit.

Have you tried that crockpot in pressure cooker mode? I tried to use the duo 3-quart instant pot, and it would work for about 5 minutes, but then the power would spike and the breaker on the River Pro kicks in, switching it off. Also, what is the wattage draw on that crockpot if so.

@overlandnomad - A recommendation: Ryobi makes a "hybrid" fan that you can use their batteries or AC power. The draw is less that half of the Honeywell but moves a ton of air. If you haven't already look into Ryobi 18v battery system... not necessarily for the tools but for their inverters and fans / blowers.

those two plugs look like two DC power plugs. probably plugs into a AC power adapter that charges the device after changing it to DC power.

How come the River Pro's AC cable is just a cable? which is nice and really doesn't take up much space. I saw the Bluetti's and they have a brick type one.

You can buy them with Australian 220/240v connections (both in and output via inbuilt inverter) from the Australian distributor - Clean Portable Power (CPP). Just got a River Max which is 576wh version of this basic product. So far - very impressed.

Wish you would have tried to run the instant pot at stew or one of the higher settings. Sauté draws the least amount of power

I've been trying to find others using the instant pot mini (700 watt) on this device, which I own, but I'm cautious to try this yet. I am able to run my inverter microwave on a power of 4 without issue (685 watts). While not the river pro someone using one of the deltas tried instant pot with a wattage tester and it was about that wattage (685) at peak, but of course there was no risk with the more powerful device. Another test video said the mini was running at 750 watts, contradicting what I saw in the other video, so I'm not sure.

It would be great if they harness the power of the cooling fan to recharge the unit everytime it's used. If they make it a dual use fan, fan for cooling and recharging. Things are definitely advancing rapidly so who knows maybe we'll be seeing power stations that recharge themselves, that will help ys deal with climate change.

Have not tested that, but by knowing that the max is 1800w, it will technically power it but would only last a bit. I would look for a bigger power station.

Forget this product - the worst battery product I ever met. I am just returning my second one after the changing. The first one has a lot of problems and I was not able to even use it. The second one went wrong after a few hours so I have to return it. Looks like a good quality product but using it the worst I ever saw. Do not buy any Ecoflow battery only if you want a misery.
