Hi Shawn, Been a long time fan of crafted elements and have several of your excellent molds. You mentioned a couple of times in the video that the recesses could be used for cups, which I think would be a great idea on a 2 inch thick mold. I the layered topographic look, which I think looks awesome, wouldn’t make the best cup. If you are soliciting ideas: How about a 2 inch thick mold with dome shaped recesses about 2 inches in diameter to act as condiment or dip cups?

That dip cup idea sounds cool. I wanted to see how people use these existing recesses, but it makes sense.

Hi Shawn, Have just gotten a few of your mold -- the hexagon design is definitely in my future. Quick question -- what bit do you use / suggest to chamfer the boards with? Thank you Chris

I just use a boring old 1/4" or 3/8" round over for the vast majority of the edges I do on these boards.

Will these be good for actual cutting board? Does epoxic work for that purpose? They look very nice. Thank you.

Ideally if you are actually cutting on it (as you regularly would a cutting board), don't use epoxy, or just use a small amount to fill voids or holes in the wood. Epoxy will scar and isn't easily repairable without a resand and polish.
