My headcannon has always been that BB’s darkness fruit is not just regular darkness, but darkness from the bottom of the sea. The fact that earthquakes are causing the levels to rise is very significant. Whatever BB’s third DF ends up being probably ties the whole thing together in a neat bow.

Yo JB! It's a great time for these theories... fingers crossed for answers soon, but until then, ideas to the wind! If we compare the Adam & Eve trees to Yggdrasil, and they connect the top world to the bottom world, which direction do the trees grow? Given this theory as context, let's say they definitely grow downward. So the roots of the Eve tree root into the sub layer below Fishman island and the Adam tree Elbaph, respectively. You put forth the process that these roots take part in, and let's add that the roots are broken down during the process, but continue growing simultaneously. If the growing of the roots exceeds the rate of consumption, then the pathways the roots take will enlarge, thus releasing more product(bubbles, etc). All that said brings me to the idea that it may be possible that Fishman Island is susceptible to being shh-whacked by a new knockup stream and/or volcanic eruption via the roots of Eve, and same for Elbaf. The general speculation around Fishman Island is that the red line will fall onto it, but with the info you have presented, it may be possible for the island to be knocked UP & through the Red line. If this happens, the entirety of the island will remain intact because of the strength of the atmospheric bubble surrounding it.

That's quite a theory. It gives a better explanation for Eve and devil fruit than any I've heard. I'd like to add some fuel to your fire. If everything is absorbing pyrobrine, or plastic particles, and becoming more plastic, or resin-based... Rubber being made from resin, and a devil fruit user with power over that rubber makes Luffy a lot stronger than we're giving him credit for. The sea, the earth, and the air have plastic in them? No wonder he can manifest or manipulate whatever he wants. It's all part of his control over rubber(resin). EDIT: I'll double down on that plastic theory and combine it with another. Luffy only going Giant Mode in and/or around clouds lends to the speculation that he's absorbing the pyrobrine(plastic) in them to increase his size, like a Logia. This would complete his mythical fruit's powerset because it's already been likened to a paramecia and called a zoan.

It was sentenced to "cloud drifting" about 200 years ago. When that cloud dissolved, the ship simply fell from the sky. WOA this theory is Really cool!!! I think this can also be supported by how there exists 2 calendar system in op too. The one that Robin used to talk about the history of Alabasta is called "Sky calendar". The one the world uses right now is the "Sea Circle calendar" that was implemented 1524 years ago (according to Artur). What i gather from this is that in older times the ppl on the current ground level used the Sky/Heaven calendar because it literally marks the age of living on the clouds compared to where they were on the lower level. But then the world slowly became too covered in water, maybe creating big oceans that changes their way of life so drastically from before. Maybe it justifies marking a new page in history by making a new calendar system, with the ocean in its name rather than the sky, seeing as now they no longer have anything else to be above of anymore.

After learning thr names of the Gorosei I thought the multiple moon theory was thrown out, because back in the day people thought the only planets we could see were revolving around the earth and those planets have the same names as the Gorosei

Very interesting... love the Pyrobrine ideas What if: --The Gorosei aren't humans or demons, but literal inhabited moons with the names of planets given some of the most powerful devil fruits, and the moons becoming the Gorosei is what destroyed them and gave the surviving dragons the ability to get rid of most of the Lunarians in a war they were losing. Then the surviving dragons had to find human wives for lack of other options until they became very diluted. I still like the idea of certain island being chunks of moon sitting on top of a plastic shell overtop a Venus-like/Jetsons-like Hellscape. --Or the Celestial Dragons are the only pure-humans left on the world but only a few of them know how to use their advanced technology anymore. The Gorosei could still be their ancient ultimate weapons... planets turned into people... also the original celestial dragons needed their special suits because all the world is above 10,000 feet and the air was so much thinner that you needed tech or to be bioengineered to breathe --What if the missing ultimate weapons that would form our solar system will somehow be fruits for The Strawhats that do not have fruits yet, very unlikely but interesting to think about. --Also the 5 peoples on the 5 moons could have been 5 other races of humans that are now on main world at the same time. The wings of the sky people make a lot more sense for a low gravity small moon than for Earth, also the reason it wasn't destroyed might have been because they totally surrendered and left their moon to go back to Earth. ----Like it could have been a group of Early Celestial Dragons were getting violent so 6 other nations bioengineered themselves to live on 6 moons which were easy to colonize, then the Lunarians thought they augmented themselves enough and tried to fight back... this caused the moons to be destroyed slowly and with warning, which let many modified people come back to Earth and obey the Early Celestial Dragons who took away all the advanced technology they could find. So maybe Fishmen/Merfolk, Minks, Buccaneers, Lunarians, Giants, and Sky People were all people who used be human in ancient times but later went to their own moon for a while... Also the model we had was from 400 years ago and maybe there used to be a full set of 8 moon-planets around Earth before then. --Tragically Ironic when Blackbeard murders Imu to get his 3rd devil fruit power or Luffy just defeats Imu in a long fight, that is what will make the world flood, secretly Imu was holding back the big flood all along. This idea feels real, I could totally see Blackbeard pretend to work with Imu against Luffy and then backstab Imu and take Imu's powers to make himself the final boss. Not sure if this is before or after Luffy takes Robin to the Laugh Tale/Raftel island. Also, because Oda loves foreshadowing, what if the Strawhats learn the secret of how Blackbeard took Whitebeard's power, and at the very end Nami gets Imu's power so her literal wave name finally lives up to itself.

Also check out chapter 594 Messages. In Kongs office well its back ground I believe is an example of the "Black Sea". Keep in mind Kong was at the holy land in an office there... yet it appears to be under water. Parvision and Syv brought it up on there pod cast/stream whatever it was.

I somehow got the Feeling luffy will wear the Giant robot as a suit. There were so many chapters where he freaked out about using armor, even when they got eaten by the seaturtle @start of skypia arc - maybe foreshadowing of armored luffy riding zunesha?😄
