Couple of slabs there Jakko. Nothing beats a big clearwater river GooDoo. Give the Vanfook DT-58F hooks a go. Best big cod hook that I've used and I've tried them all. Sticky sharp and strong. Thanks for the content and tight lines.

Murray Cod were actually supposed to be introduced to the Kern River in California per a bill that was passed around the 1950's or so. We never got the fish stocked in the river as of 2024, but it sure is a treat to watch yall catch them.
