Wow those are some of darkest bronze color smallie’s I ever seen with gold belly’s instead of a grayish color. Im guessing fishing around Peterborough, Ontario a lot of good fishing around there!!

Algoma is first clue where they fishing. Probably north of the sault. Big brown smallies up there in them remote lakes.

Thanks Greg! We though we were going to be able to more than we did. The fish tended to be pretty much up shallow starting to get on beds which made it a little harder to use LiveScope to pinpoint them

You mention in the video cutting the tails down on your tube. What is the purpose/advantage of that?

I was getting short strikes where they’d only grab the tails and I wasn’t getting a good hook into the fish - by cutting the tails, they’d grab the whole bait
