@@imSchwaggy These are way more annoying to work on. E39 is a better build chassis. With an E39 you never have to deal with the stripping front driveshaft, oil sump with a passthrough for the front right half-axle, annoying to remove stiffening plate. The door handles and window regulators on E53 are utter shit. All E53 has are decent cup holders.

Just make sure u add some resonators. The 3.0 can get raspy without them. It will sound crisp with some resonators and a nice flowing muffler when u delete the cats

They dont have too many issues. Just make sure you do the timing chain tensioner every 20-25k miles. That way the chain guides wont be an iasue

Where they straight pipe it that's where the resonator is the catalyst converters are more towards the engine.
