Showing off the beastly Toyota Supra on Deer Park Avenue. With it's 750 whp and 620 torque it's taring up the road. We installed new rims and drag tires with skinny tires in the front.

Supra rev limit is 6800 and tops out at 7200 (repeated backfiring) He was probably shifting 6500-6800 but the tires were fresh so they just hooked and booked!

listen to the turbo spooling. Its a upgraded turbo kit. A large one if i might add. You dont drive a large turbo charger like that...first three gears you floor it. For example,a 76mm turbo charger on supra will give you acceleration way beyond the point of rev limit. Do that in all three gears and you reach that sweet point of overboost in the 4th gear. Then you ejaculate!

Depends on turbo size. Boost is one parameter but turbo size is another. You have boost air air flow. Air flow depends on boost AND turbo size. Think of a water hose.

Basically anything over 600-650 at the wheels is going to be overkill for normal usage. Unless you build the car specifically for drag racing and equip some huge slicks on the rear anything more than that is just going to waste

Nice car but why film 2nd-3rd gear pulls? I had a BPU a few years back and I rarely did any pulls if I couldn't go all-out on most gears. The whole charm with the Supra is the way it just keep on going and the feeling of beeing sucked into the seat and a kick to the chest at the same time. Humbly now, but is this an American thing - to pull a few gears and then cheer a little? Most American Supra vids I see on youtube are basically the same thing - pull 2nd-3rd gear and maybe 1-2 seconds on 4th gear - and then...nothing. Just back into cruise mode. I just have a hard time making sense out of it. When I had my BPU 6 speed J-spec Supra I punished the hell out of that car through all the gears everytime i drove it. And mind you, that engine could take the beating. It just kept on going without complaints. :D Cheers

Not everyone enjoys beating the shit out of their vehicles. Some people respect what they have whether it can take "punishment" or not. The idea the manufactrer have when designing a high-performance car is exactly that - "high-performance". No logic what so ever in that reply. I don't mind people cruising - but I do mind people cruising all the freagin time in their high-performance cars. They were built to go fast and they want to be punished! The engine and chassi are in their natural element in those conditions - that's the whole difference between a normal road-car and high-performance cars! :D Just let it rip!

Actually running that much boost an producing that little power is pretty inefficient, Stock frame twin turbo N54 335i make 711whp on a completely stock engine with E85 and meth at 28lbs boost tapering off to 23lbs. Plus look up Freed Engineering. They do amazing tuning and make more power on stock 2jz's running 10lbs less boost FBO e85....Im sorry if Ive seen better results. Love the supra....although that tune is inefficient.
