When I visited friends in Bolton and Manchester, I went to a place called Name of the Game in Farnworth and my sweetheart looked at me like I was completely mental.

Spotted IK+ on the PS1 I had no idea it came out on PS1 I will need to check it out, it is easily the best fighting game on C64 and Amiga.

Psone Rage Racer by Namco is Ridge Racer 3 for PS1 and yes some levels appear in the psp version of Ridge Racer 1 and 2 PSP

Loving the Tom Nook and LEGO Darth Vader standees. A Boy and His Blob is good fun, it's by David Crane who designed Pitfall and Ghostbusters. There was a WiiWare remake years later.

Had a proper shrieking fangirl moment when you mentioned Xena! My ultimate fandom, I’m flying out to LA next week for the Xena-con and will be meeting Lucy Lawless (xena) herself! I had a Sega megadrive, it was the 16-bit version, the only problem was that the inside of the cartridges would gather dust and the fame wouldn't work. My favourite Sega megadrive game was the sonic series.

I've got God of War Ragnarok for Christmas so I'll have to let you know if I think it tops Eden Ring. Elden Ring is one of my favourite games ever though😄This video reminded me I need to pick up a copy of Rage Racer for the PS1 as well at some point. Are the stickers directly on the boxes though? 🤦🏼‍♀️ I moaned at my local cash converters for doing that and since then they don't stick anything directly on the cases/boxes anymore Also it's really nice to be looking around a shop like this But I'd also like to find a bargain .. their prices are the same or if not more than eBay ..which is a shame ...

To be fair, the stickers are about as sticky as a post it note and leave no residue. We spent ages finding the right ones, and selected them specifically to avoid box damage.

Zelda ocarina of time I have lots of nostalgia for 😌 I forgot to order my copy back in 98 which game came out on a Friday with queue's so long I could see the roads, and went home disappointed 😢 but manage to get my copy the following Tuesday 🤗 ( shop keeper kept one under the counter for me) and it was one of the greatest days and games of my entire life 😌 extremely nostalgia game.

Not a single bargain in this store, amazes me how they survive. Constantly ridiculed in the local gaming community as they charge above CEX prices and a fair bit more than the going rate on ebay for majority of their stock! But refuse to beat CEX on even the best retro majority of the time, they just match them or offer slightly more store credit. I tried to sell them my gaming fair stock and they offered me CEX cash prices on PS2 games, even the stuff that CEX hadn't currently got available in stock at any of their stores across the country. Total joke! I recommend Doorway To Dorkness, or just go on ebay these days as it tends to be cheaper.

A selection of items are slightly overpriced even for retail, but 9 times out of 10 he pays excellent prices and treats me like an absolute legend, letting me take a look at stuff in the back on the odd occasion.
