I suggest using a dropper in the killer zone, with a Nautilus shell if you drop that item, the drowned with the trident might drop his weapon for catch the nautilus shell, and so you a have a new trident.

It’s kinda dumb but trust guys, the roof has to be leaves, I tried slabs cuz I had way to many of a certain block and tried that and it didn’t work. But after I used leaves it did work. I figured it was leaves for non-spawn purposes but nope. Maybe it’s the light? Idk but it’s gotta be leaves

It would, but you are more likely to get tridents with a looting 3 sword.

I'm waiting at the killing chamber and there is no drowned spawning.... I made it exactly like you did what should I look for that I might have made a mistake on? Edit. I replaced cobblestone roof with leaves and it now is starting to spawn drowneds but i think i should hav put it more towards the ocean for better spawns

You should try use a trident killer for the farm and put ice on the spawning platform I don’t know why but it makes it faster

I just built the farm following the instructions perfectly but it doesn't seem to be working very well. It only seems to be spawning a drowned (always two) every 10-15min so is there any way to increase the efficiency or is this as good as it gets?

Try AFKing at different areas, and you will find a faster location :)

Hey so the farm doesn't work when i have a roof on it but if i take the roof off it works at night. I tried moving the roof one block up in case that was the issue but the problem persists, also I'm using regular solid blocks rather than leaves I don't think that would effect it some help would be much appreciated though

that is very weird. If you are on pc, try downloading my world to see what is different, as mine works properly.

If you use solid blocks it is probably spawning mobs on top of it, you'd have to cover it in slabs too

Look up a “bedrock Raid farm” but when you set it up they tell you to dig it 27 deep dig it 30 deep so they all die to fall damage. Looting does not affect totems.

@@Yourlocal_KZbinrjust a tip for your future builds, if it says to use leaves, use them. They spawn proof that area as mobs can’t spawn on them and it’ll prevent issues with your future builds :)

Try building more layers drowned spawns under water blocks so building more layers will make it faster since a drowned will have around 200 spawn spots per layer to simplify it the more layers you make the more spawn spots drowned can spawn on making Minecraft’s AI faster and spawning a bunch of drowneds

Maybe try changing the leaves for some other full solid block. Cuz a lot of hostile mobs now need a light level of 0 to spawn. So maybe the leaves are letting light thru
