What is the update called for you? As in what firmware and app version do you have for these? I’m on AV: 2.7.3 and FW V: 3.5.7 and don’t have the new options you show available.

my app is allways crashing after update. When i want to start a new session the device says install new update and in device infos everything seems up to date. Dont know what to do. Does anybody have the same problem?

great video showcasing the updates. I must admit, I am very impressed with the evolution of the product. The active development by the Rapsodo team is excellent and it makes justifying the annual sub even more easier/worthwhile. In terms of a training aid, I am not sure what we are missing now? For me, I'd love a wedge matrix and even an operation36 mode.

mlm2pro just keeps getting better and better ... what a great value im in NYC and am loving being able to practice and even play in the winter in my home ... best golf investment , and whit this update i may have to get some speed sticks ... i will try useing my clubs to see how that works for speed training as well

I think the roll of the ball at the range is still the same. The update is regarding the left side next to the fairway. When you hooked a drive into the rough the ball kept rolling really slow for about one minute and this is gone. The roll on the fairway is the same as it used to be. I also compared the roll vs Trackman. Trackman has especially with the woods 20-30% more roll.

With the rpt balls I think they’ve fixed the rollout quite well. When you don’t use the rpt ball it’s not measuring spin so that’s always going to be a calculation

My update didn’t go too well everything is short and left. But also I am still getting 10 yards rolled out with a wedge. Did you try any of your wedges to see if you’re still getting the 10 Yard rolled out?

How do you mean? The rapsodo reads the superspeed numbers but I will be doing a speed training session with driver soon

The new update is JUNK! I have had the MLM2 Pro almost 4 months now and have averaged using it 3 to 5 times a week. The new update clearly, and I mean clearly misses more shots while playing Awesome golf and E6! Unit stays in the same well lit area so no variance on my end. If the misreads continue at this rate I will definitely get another brand sim to use! Rapsodo has had a good thing with their unit up until now, but they dropped the ball on this update! PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!

I've used it on Awesome Golf without any issues. The trick is finding the right hitting zone as you can't see the alignment box.

Rct ball will be fantastic. Hopefully they last longer than the current balls with dots that wear off. Does it seem like the spin when hitting ground only applies to the range? I'm not able to tell if the course sims are still the old way.

Great video. I had a hard time deciding between the rapsodo 2 and Garmin r10. Because I had the 1st generation rapsodo that was great it ended up being the balls and mainly your videos that made the decision for me. So I got the Garmin. But I’m glad I did go with the Garmin cause it’s been so great with just my tp5 balls. But I did end up getting the RTC balls later down the road to get the more accurate spin numbers. So thanks for all the work you put in. Keep up the good work man.

The Garmin R10 is still great value for money and a fantastic unit. I have mine and use it on occasions even now. More than happy with my results from that too 😁

Same. I got the R10 in the fall. Was happy with it. I understand for that price, it’s not going to have the most accurate spin. Hooks and slices aren’t very bad on the sim and I know that’s not correct haha! For the price, I’m happy. Definitely going to consider selling that later this year and upgrading to the MLM2pro. I use awesome golf so it’s nice I can use that software with either of these

You have to update the app through the AppStore as well as the firmware and do it via the wifi connection not direct connection

I think the update is good, the addition of speed training does remove the need for purchasing a PRGR or the like. My issue is that club data is still not released. There had been so much speculation about it from product launch to being released at the PGA show. The unit is great for the money, perhaps its just some of us users expecting to much.

I think for what it offers in total including the swing vision, tracers, impact vision, bag mapping, courses, now speed training that it’s actually unbelievable value

The one issue I have with the update is for some reason I cannot view the alignment while in any session either in the range or on the courses I see the alignment at the beginning of the session when I start but I can't go in and check the alignment as I play that is a little bit annoying has anybody else had this issue

I’m considering purchasing the MLM2Pro and I have a specific question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to yet. I’m wondering if the MLM2Pro is capable of accurately capturing shots with foam golf balls or similar. Since there’s a lot of content out there for other simulators but not specifically for the MLM2Pro, I think it could be a great idea for a KZbin video. Testing the MLM2Pro with foam balls could provide valuable information for those of us looking to practice indoors without the risk of breaking anything. Would you be willing to test this out and share your findings? It seems like it could be a unique and helpful piece of content for your viewers.

When you say accurately capturing shots with foam balls do you mean actual distances like a 7 iron going 165 etc? If so then no as it will measure how far the foam ball will go and will recognise it as a soft ball with low ball speed not a premium ball

You mentioned in the video that you heard the RCT ball will be compatible with the MLM2Pro. This is not true, the RCT ball will only be compatible with the original MLM. Not sure if somebody else already cleared this up in the comments.

I understand that it needs to be 6 ft-8 ft behind the ball. But for the speed training, it still needs to be 8 ft to net. To me that’s so weird. It sucks for people like me who doesn’t have a lot of space. 😊

Not sure if it still needs 8 feet in front but in order to swing a superspeed you would need that distance anyway otherwise you’d be hitting a wall with the stick

I find the speed training with a club vs what i see in the other mods is way off. I have contacted rapsodo and i dont have an answer for it. On the range i can barely break 105 on speed training yesterday i was seeing 112-119 with my driver.

The algorithm comes into play when you hit an actual ball. So if your ball speed is 160mph it’s likely that your swing speed will be 109-112 mph. It’s quite easy to calculate depending on the smash factor your working from
