A few years ago the only way to get public records requests done was in person because online portals didn't exist for most gov't agencies, now they try to force everyone online to do it and keep the public out at all costs. It's really disheartening, the levels of fear are off the charts. Shoutout to the great officer just trying to make everyone happy.

Remember how zoom worked for the schools? Swaths of kids couldn’t join classes because they didn’t have reliable internet access nor the equipment. That isn’t equal access for everyone, first amendment. The primary way to receive service is in person and insures equal access to everyone and will continue to be primary.
