I've got to say you're one of the best and enjoy your stuff. I've got a friendly suggestion and a question if I may. My suggestion. Try not to make the chief look bad when he's actually doing the right thing agreeing with you and explaining to his officers that they're not going to pursue any action against you. Slowing down what he's saying make him look at least dumb if not worse and the slow mo is usually reserved for cops that don't know the law or make up their own laws and try to intimidate. And then my question would be regarding the permission you acquired by the Postmaster General or somebody like that I forget the title, but is that actually necessary? Maybe it's vague and that's what the cops stand on to trespass . I thought it was reserved for commercial filming to need higher up permission but not filming in general. Anyway thanks for listening and appreciate what you do. Good luck and stay safe

Local law enforcement has NO JURISDICTION in a federal Post office Unless a signed agreement is in force between PO and Local law enforcement. And I am glad you challenged the cops on their authority and no firearms in a post office. That may have been the time to take an arrest and then sue the police department and the USPS for false arrest, as did Long Island Audit, and he got 2 cops fire and a healthy settlement over a false arrest and the charges dropped. It seems most cops have a poor understanding of their authority and just bull ahead but this time they ran into someone smarted and more informed on the actual laws. This is my favorite video I’ve ever watched of an audit and I’ve watched a lot! So glad I found your channel. Thanks for what you are doing. I was arrested falsely by tyrants and couldn’t afford good enough legal counsel and didn’t know my rights well enough yet and ended up settling for a pretty serious punishment even the the district attorney agreed that “most” of it could have been conducted better and completely dropped 3 charges including assault or endangering an officer with a weapon (car) that they ripped me out of still in drive … wish I would have known my rights more that day! Thank you so much for the things you’re doing to hold them accountable!

Wow. I meant to say WOW!! This the best, most complete, humbling USPS office that I have ever seen. (And I have seen my share.) You were polite, articulate, informed, armed with proper documents, and the pen is mightier than the sword. That Chief is first class. That area is lucky to have him. He is one calm, smart man. Every LEO could learn from his example. WOW. Best Post Office ever - by anyone. WOW. Fascinating how cops always think the answer is to just call for more cops to come to a location. Where is that in their training? When you can't win with words, when you can't understand what the complainant is explaining, just call for more force.

You did a great job on this video. You had your ducks in a row and you were respectful during the entire encounter. It was enjoyable to see so many egos deflated at one time. The police in this case learned a valuable lesson that their badge and gun is a poor substitute for education and knowing 100% job proficiency includes knowledge of the law and their boundaries. I watched this a couple of times.

It's really great to see an auditor act civilly towards the officers and not try to escalate the situation. That being said, it's just as nice to see police officers not jump to the stance of 'You are going to do what I say and your research, permission and legal activity is going to stop because I said so'. They took the time to listen, learn and get a veteran supervisor to guide them through the situation. If everyone, citizens and police included, acted civilly towards each other instead of immediately getting into a pissing competition, situations like this could be informational and informative to all parties involved. Well done everyone for the way this situation was handled.

That younger officer has ZERO idea what he’s doing. He’s ready to arrest without doing ANY research, without doing ANY sort of investigation, and without even at least making a call to a superior to try to glean any information as how to proceed. Additional training and perhaps a change of career would do this young man some good.

I rarely leave comments, but I get so frustrated with the audits where the auditor acts like they aren't sure of the law. I really liked how you pulled out the evidence to back up what you were saying. They tried very hard to ignore it, but if they would have continued violating your rights they would not have been able to fall back on ignorance. Great job! Thank you!
@snarky_user Жыл бұрын
I understand what you're saying. Realize that other auditors may not understand the laws as much as this auditor. However, that does not make their audits less legal than this audit. Those other auditors should not have to engage with those cops in the first place. His pulling of evidence was him giving the cops an opportunity to dig a deeper hole for themselves. Yes, it was certainly educational, but he was in no way obligated to do it to make his presence legal. However, doing so opened up one of the strongest cases for removal of immunity that I've witnessed.
@48kristajm Жыл бұрын
@@snarky_user I don't disagree with you. However, I'm referring to the ones that are "playing dumb". I'm sure it is some kind of strategy, I just personally don't think those are as effective and find it frustrating to watch. I've never seen one pull out evidence and be so straight to the point verbally. I thought it was well done. With that said I give props to all of them.

The minute that POSTAL employee demanded that you be trespassed from the property, which we know is because you were filming. That’s when you should ask for the district manager’s contact information so that you can ask the district manager if this employee has the power and authority to supersede the postmaster general and his team of attorneys legal decisions.

All my respect for the officers professionalism has gone out the window. He was specifically pointed to and quoted the law, still chooses to ignore it. That type of individual is worse in my opinion because they know they are in the wrong and don't care. We need to make local and government officials pay dearly for their crimes.
@donkeziah2564 Жыл бұрын
I saw a mention that the cops should learn the laws in the academy!!! RU kidding!!! A cop academy teach the Constitution and federal laws!!! Most of the time cops get their basic training from other cops in night classes at the local community College the they get to ride with an old timer to learn the ropes that handed a badge and a .38 spl. 6 shot revolver and a hat and told how to order his uniforms and he learned his law enforcement ways from someone less intelligent of the laws than himself. Any other education was totally of his own initiative and some did and many did not!!! So many cops started out in a small town that had 3 people in the department and the only reason they added a 4 th was because the old slick sleeve was getting where he couldn't walk more than 20 feet and he was going to give up some or die and the town needed a replacement and after a few years the youngster got a higher paying job on the force in the county seat. And so it went from there.
