I like a lot of what this build does. I do not understand why people are so worried to tell the price? Come on guys it's 2024. Would save people including the builders a lot of time in the long run. And come on customers why wouldn't you be proud to say this is what I paid and I LOVE what I got for my money?

It’s because of the internet. Customers get attacked by saying any number. Not everyone thinks like you do or maybe as kind as you. Unfortunately the majority of people are haters no matter the number. I personally don’t like sharing the number because if I was truly interested in what something cost, I’d do some digging. I’d email the company or go to their website and see if there’s anything listed. I’d look up some of the companies mentioned in the video like wrappon, van life tech heater, cruise n comfort a/c, and then figure out what labor is

It all depends on details and product used. Something like this would be about 10-14 weeks. That also depends on supply chain

Great wood work no doubt. But aren't this layout a little bit over and done with? Every van owner experience bad weather or heat waves that has us locked inside the van for shorter or longer period while weather clears. A garage is nice, but even more nice is a sofa where your bed is and a bed above or even a murphy bed. I will for sure never go back to a layout like this. And I think the van builders should really try to be more creative with layouts and make more multi use layouts.

I think everyone has the layout they love. I also think there are only 4, maybe 5 layouts for vanlife. I feel those that are trying to reinvent the wheel fail more than they succeed, meaning they are trying to do overcomplicated van layouts. The fixed bed design (like in this video) has probably the most appeal because you don’t need to “make up” your bed everyday. Most say well that’s not a big deal and I tell those to go make that bed daily many times over and tell me how it feels. This layout also offers the most storage options and safe storage for bikes. Murphy bed layouts are great but there’s a lot of negative space and subtracts tons of storage options. Again, there’s a layout for everyone and I appreciate your comment and feedback. Thank you

Having a big garage is super important for allot of people, I planned to do a elevator bed too but you’d lose a shit ton of head room and it’s too complicated and expensive to build for most. I’ll still have a big L lounge and a L kitchen next to the bed, which imo is the best layout. Both my bed and lounge will have a view/door.
