1:40 I am pretty sure those cubes store code that help dictate what weather, lighting, AI behaviours and whatnot are supposed to be in the area. In the playable world these cubes would be hidden underground or in inaccessible buildings, but given how the devs never expected the player to get out this far, they didn't care about where it was placed lmao

@@watch-Dominion-2018 Probably to allow for dynamic change and reaction with the player and the open world. It would be too inefficient to throw all those values in separate files "outside" of the game engine, it would be better just to throw it into those cubes where the game engine can use them right away.

@@watch-Dominion-2018 Becuase it would be too slow for the game and your console/computer. It wouldn't run as fast. By having the cubes in the game, the game engine could just have the cubes do all the work.

I did this years ago multiple times this is a classic. Also you can go to New Austin as Arthur and talk to the people there and everything in the middle of the mission where you go to the Saint Denis cemetery with John. John will even follow you there.

I'm amazed at how much rockstar put into so much irrelevant stuff. Kind of makes we wish they would've put more into Arthurs actual story. IE: A secret way to not get TB would've been great. Like a secret tonic that an indian medicine man gives Arthur clues on how to make. Or instead of going to Guarma, they take over Hanging Dog Ranch.

They need to patch remove the sniper and allow arthur to go to new austin before the epilogue. By ch 3/4 onwards enough time has passed since Blackwater robbery to realistically allow him to go that way. Just don't allow entry into Blackwater itself

My question is why did Rockstar even waste the time to build the terrain and textures of Mexico if Arthur can't even head out west in the game? Set up to use the world space in a RDR3, maybe?

With Arthur you need to do all of them except the bandit challenges past like 5 idk and the last one you need is horseman 10 with a Hungarian halfbred that you can get during the Swanson mission replay in the Great Plains

Never played this game, but love the theme. I’m 60 years old with not good hand eye coordination is this one of them games that only a 14-year-old or is it more of a storyline and not PVP stuff where I’m getting my ass handed me every day by some kid

This is a great game. It offers a great story and a lot of side quests and challenges. It has a huge compendium of items, weapons, horses, animals, plants, characters, locations and environments. After the first chapter which is basically a tutorial you are able to free roam and follow the storyline pretty much however you would like to. You can advance through the missions, focus just on the side quests, or just explore, hunt or search for collectibles. It has very basic controls in my opinion, but a huge range of mechanics that can be confusing sometimes. You'll have to pay close attention to prompts and messages on your screen if you want to have a better understanding at the beginning. This game is huge, you can play it for hundreds of hours and still discover things, lots of details, clues, plots, secrets and mysteries. You'll need to pay close attention and take your time if you want to get the most out of it. There's no PVP stuff unless you want to sing in and play online with other people, otherwise you can just get by on your own just fine. There's just too much to do on a regular playthrough. You could affect the storyline depending on how you behave as a player which could also make things easier or more difficult to you. It all depends on what you choose to do. I think that you would enjoy it a lot and stay away form spoilers! If you decide to give it a try let me know if I can help you somehow...
