The beauty of this song is that while it's supposed to be an argument as to why more people need to believe in god, it can also, word-for-word, be used as an argument as to why god doesn't exist, it covers a full spectrum.

No. You don't talk about that do you j? That's such a slap in the face. I experience so much of his peace and love and joy all the time. But you'll never understand that unless you seek Hom in faith. @@crazyjay2850 We've never treated eachother equal ever 500 years ago it was acceptable for me to kill you and take your land without much if any push back . the issue is mentally ill people cannot differentiate between reality and fantasy on a lot of their medications. its not like they see dead people as its not the big things they miss its the little common sense type things they miss . you're just as responsible for the state of man as anyone else who's lives on this planet. This idea that you're special and not the problem is the biggest part of the actual issue with lack of responsibility taken by individuals . We are more equal today then ever as we've progressed as a race forward . It may not be perfect but Utopia or Perfection is a fantasy told to children to stir ambitions. Reality is that life is messy and only someone truly arrogant would believe they could some how control it like you humerously suggested above . MLK had a Dream and only in that Dream was Perfection possible . What you kids ignore is the 1000's of other things he said provide Context to his vision in which justice could be had for all in the eyes of the law regardless of skin color . At no point did his vision include a hug and a hand job for everyone MLK was grounded and although he painted a beautiful vision of his Dream he does not get the credit he deserves for provide knowledge to those without it helping create programs with volunteers to protect black workers from the italian backed unions. Its ironic that Americans read so little of their Country's Great Leaders History from back when they still Produced them . Since the Bush's whored America out to the corporations in 30 years ago USA was a power house with Education ranking top 10 in the world . (Since 1990 USA has ranked top 10 zero times and below 3rd world countries to many times to count)

+Regina Forbes yes maybe we will be judged in the end,but why does god make us suffer? why does all the shit that icp mentions happen if he loved us so much.I mean no disrespect by this,but I personally believe that either God is dead, or that he realized humans are a fuck up race of animals and he's waiting for us to kill ourselfs off or he left us and doesn't care for us anymore.
@codexcody43079 жыл бұрын
+John Beirlair God tells us that suffering comes from hell and the devil God allows the devil to torment us sometimes to test our faith othertimes to make us spiritually stonger and immune to temtation. Jesus loves you man. God does care but its up to you to decide weather or not to follow him.

Did he give the Afghani earthquake victims freewill? Did they choose to have their homes, loved ones, lives, destroyed? Ditto sunami victims, New Orleans flood victims ect. I suppose you might say we bring it on ourselves by our treatment of the natural world but why single out these poor, struggling areas so frequently? why not just wipe out the whole lot of us? Sorry but on a more personal note, why don't you go eat your bible? l

I have always liked the idea of there being a god, I want there to be a god even if I goto hell. I just have a hard time excepting that we are the children of God. Who let's there children starve to death and kill each other over religion. I used to be a strong christian who went to church but I lost faith. Nothing against those who believe. I wish I did, I just can't.

This is a question I hear all the time. & I love this video cuz its an important question. Based on how I'm hearing the bible (could someone help me with a chapter verse) YHWH will not violate our free will. Since man chooses wickedness, God will allow us to reap its fruit. But that doesn't explain why bad things happen to believers. When Adam & Eve were expelled from the garden, God warned them that they would now live in a fallen state. So as a believer I know that my body is now in a fallen state & I live with the repercussions of that. Also I know that I am personally a sinner & therefore suffer the consequence of my weak flesh. Finally since I read this bible I have learned the concept of redemption. I know that this life of hard knocks is temporary.

Where's God when depression goes down
@jesuschristsavesfromhellst44325 жыл бұрын
God will help us but satan is here to try and tempt us to sin. Alcohol, smoking, gambling, drugs, fornication and money are all tools satan uses to make us sin. What causes you to feel depressed? Jesus Christ will heal you from depression and the power of God is better than anything

i don't even know why I'm posting this, but... God is in the same place as when the lyrics to "miracles" was written. I'm sorry, but i wish everyone could understand that humans can't create a world of corruption, evil, greed, hate, etc and expect God to constantly reward us for it. Not to mention, the best of us all (Jesus) was tried, tested, tortured, and murdered. So if that's what the best of us endured, what can the least of us expect. To believe in God means to face your tribulations and not let your faith tremble. If God spoon fed you a perfect life, where would be your test of faith? Just sayin... oh... and whoop whoop! Mmfwcl to all!

I don't believe in God myself, but I really like this song because it asks a legitimate question for people who do believe in him. I know that ICP isn't religious, they just believe there is a God and don't follow any religion. What this song means for me though, is where the hell is he if he exists? All the shit in this world, he can't be real.

I think questioning God is a part of life, how are people to believe if they don't question? I don't know why you don't believe, but I can tell you why I believe; I believe because of what I've seen in what I thought was "delusion", but after looking so deep into this I found I couldn't disprove it. The question on this matter is "Can there really be a god out there?" I know the idea of a god sounds stupid, but look deeper into this and you might change your mind on this subject, but I've said this many times, I can't change the way you think, but you can. I hope things turn out really well for you in the future, and I hope we meat at the gates of heaven one day, take care, and Jesus loves you.
@baphxiii10 жыл бұрын
Seth Warner If you cannot disprove christianity you aren't trying very herd. Christianity is so flimsy and weak it can be disproven very easily. In fact, all you have to do is learn about ancient history and you can easily see that there were millions of people, living in dozens of advanced cultures all over the world, for thousands and thousands of years before any jew, christian or muslim was ever even born. Let alone had a culture around long enough to create a religion for themselves. History proves the book of genesis to be completely incorrect and wrong. If the first book of the bible is bullsht, that is a pretty clear indication the rest of the book is bullshit as well. Which if you would actually read the bible, you can see just how full of shit it really is.
@RamonaFlowers42010 жыл бұрын
baphxiii You're absolutely right, the bible is full of contradictions. Throughout the whole thing, not to mention... God killed more people in it than the devil did. lol
@baphxiii10 жыл бұрын
Amanda McClellan Yeah I do not understand how christians can rationalize all the contradictions in the bible. Not only are there dozens of contradictions there are so many example of ideas and concepts that are clearly wrong and written by people who had no idea what they were talking about.

I look at the way the earth is and I can't help but think there is a god out there, how can a big bang coincidentally position our planet in the right place, and how can the sunset be so intuitively designed to give us such a beautiful view?, I read as often as possible, and I think I know what you mean; the old testament is filled with such horrible wars, death and destruction, and God's righteous vengeance, but he wanted to give us all that chance to be with him, he planed to give us redemption for our sins, so he sent his son; that's when the new testament came, and it's filled with change, revaluation, and the chance to be saved, all the things God did in the old was his plan for the new, cleaning the earth of its evil through death; in Romans 12:19 it spoke of how we do not seek vengeance our selves, but how vengeance is his (witch refers to the end) and the reason why things are is because of what Romans 1:24-32, read it sometime, I can't fit it on this comment. Feel free to ask me more questions, I'm not shy, and I like talking to people no matter who they are, and thank you so much for talking to me about this subject, it's good to have debates like this every now and then.
