My favorite part about Ice Spike is that, unlike the other ranged elements, it leaves something sticking out of the enemy. You can make many unicorns out of bandits this way. Also, it's funny to see enemies stuck with multiple spikes in their chest acting like nothing is wrong.

A cryomancer build sounds awesome! The cooler brother of the pyromancer is always fun to play in fantasy games if given the option (which actually isn't super often). I think the only thing I like more in Skyrim in regards to magic, is casting sparks all the time, with the occasional telekinesis spell, pretending to be the Emperor from Star Wars.

Also the Lightning Bolt spell is so satisfying. If you crank up the effect sound it sounds AWESOME. And it just SENDS people when it kills xD

If more leniency of the rules, you could use Ice Golem summons and both Frost shouts. Ice Form is broken when dealing with archers!

I have done something similar, BUT improved! I started as a Nord, I become a Vampire Lord, I only use Ice Magic & Ice Enchanted Weapons, I acquire a full set of Stalhrim Heavy Armor enchanted with yet more Ice Resistance, and finally have Stalhrim Weapons with Ice Damage!!!!! I call it the "Ice Queen" build:)

@@InsaneFrame Neat, also that "Ice Queen" uses the Ice Shouts including the "Black Book" Enhancement. As for your Ice Weapons only challenge I wish you luck on that, until you get to at least lvl 80 in Smithing you can't forge/craft Stalhrim which is the best for Ice Enchantments. Additionally, the Destruction Perks related to Ice/Fire/Shock can affect your Enchantment Perks as well as Necromage Perk from Restoration IF you also are Vampire/Vampire Lord.

One of the only issues about Skyrim challenge runs is that enchanting can easily break the game for any build. Even if you don't use exploits, 2 enchants per equipment does a lot.

I have to say, I don't get the ban on armor. I'm guessing it's because playing "Jack Frost" is akin to playing a Ice Mage.

Thanks for making this video. You execution was absolutely perfect and it answered my question. Always wondered if a Nord Mage that only practiced Frost Magic could beat the game. Just got back into Skyrim. Previously completed it as a Mage and Archer but wanted to try an Orc Warrior. So far he's great and runs over everything. Never killed a harpy so quickly. But Ice Mages are easily his bane. Many times I can barely reach them and they kill me. Kind of tempted to try one but with so many opponents being Frost Resistant wasn't sure if it could be done (Nords, Draugur, Vampires, half of Skyrim's Wildlife, 50% of the dragons, and the dwarven machines especially being completely immune.)

Good to see another Skyrim run! I think it'd be better to regularly play runs in the Elder Scrolls universe, since the tone is a little more hopeful than the barren wastes of Fallout. It's important to stay positive like you help us do! A good run, too. Destruction magic is a tough but fun climb to legendary power. Let edgy jack frost's name be written in the hall of valor forever!

I saw a similar run as Elsa. These always look really fun, too! I wonder what it'll be like to play as Princess/Queen Anna of Arendelle - no armor OR Robes, only Clothes, Fine Clothes or the royal clothes Balgruuf or Elisif wear, no magic and only one-handed swords, specifically only the transparent ones of Labyrintian, the Ghostblade or the Stalhrim Sword.

Great vids. You have a lot of patience. Playing skyrim through is already a lengthy and arduous (albeit fun) task. To go through it in this way is admirable. Do you get attached to characters in the same way when you do a challenge? When i finished skyrim i felt such an attachment to my guy i didn't want to let go of him ( and vorstag and indeed my thralls). One petty grievance that did bother me was pronunciation of mana...mah-nah. But im being pedantic. Great vids. You have a new subscriber!
