(a.k.a. trying to be Toshiya Joshima) 16:39 Outro.

Not keeping both hands on the wheel hits home. When I first was learning stick I was so good about this. As I got better and more comfortable I've realzied my hand goes off the wheel and hovers around the stick even if im not actually making the gear change yet. Definitely going to work on ingraining the habit where I'm not taking my hand off the wheel until I'm actually clutching in. Ngl you sound like my mom when you tell me to put two hands of the wheel, but you're right.

Dude yes drifting too much of the track. Blasted my tires on the most boring parts before I realized it halfway through the day

Just starting and getting nasty snap oversteer when I let the wheel go and catch it and get back on throttle. Tried less and more but can’t really tell what I’m doing

In sim drifting I sorta hold on to the wheel. Im not letting it slide because I think my wheel doesnt have enough FFB, so I help a bit out.

My best guess would be adrenaline, same thing happens to me. It allows the brain to hyper focus on the task at hand and can seem to slow everything down in the process.
