Great teaching of a sweet control! You have a knack for casually sharing real gems. Thanks. I could see using this to produce four aces or spectators' cards by controlling to the bottom, cut/shuffling, throwing out random cards, then counting down into random piles but ending w/ the controlled cards on top of each pile.

Irving Quant had a nice subtlety and variation of this in his magic project entitiled 'Quantum Mechanics' that was released under the Buck twins some years ago. The trick in question is one he named 'Agatha' in which he was able to use a distribution technique to swap any four cards together on top with any four cards spread into the deck. It was like a 4-for-4 pass but the cards being passed would be dispersed face-up within a face-down deck.

Thanks for the awesome move. I like the cuts to the table best and sometimes doing the move face up than my aces are on top once I flip the deck throw in some blind table cuts and shuffles and proceed with a production set. Anyways big fan here thanks for all you do.

When you kick back the bottom pack it DOES matter if one selection is in that packet. You must kick lesser packet than the bottom most selection. So, obviously, look ppl to put the four swelections so that the bottom most card isnt way too low, because the lower it s, smallest the packet you can add to those four cards, which in the end make that one cut look normal as half of deck was cut or so. If the bottom most card is among that packet, it will not be controlled with other three obviously, since some cards will be between them. PS: Just saying, since you said at one moment that it doesent matter
@ReidFerry2 жыл бұрын
Correct, I think I miss spoke but I was just referring to the case that happened when I was demonstrating and the bottom card was still at the top of the kicked back packet

Reid, I’m having difficulty in jogging only the 4 cards without pushing out multiple…any suggestions?
@ReidFerry2 жыл бұрын
Start with bigger angle jogs while you’re first practicing, this will make it easier to push the cards through. Practice with one card at a time to start as well. Let me know if this helps😁
