Please do tests and benchmarks, I was planning on a similar build, Darkbase pro 900, Ryzen 7 1800X, Gtx 1080ti, Gb gaming K7, Same SSD, NOt sure about which ram yet. Actually AM4 motherboards are designed to support APUs as well, so they have a graphics output. That's how they are VR ready. We'll get some pretty powerful APUs with raven ridge in the second half of this year.

@Ship Uh, no, that makes ZERO sense. No one is using any HDMI port on the mobo itself for VR. You would only be making use of integrated graphics at that point and no IGPU is capable of facilitating VR. You would plug your HDMI cable from your HMD into your VR-ready GPU (which is actually a thing). Some GPUs have an HDMI port on the inside for cases with an HDMI passthrough in the front.

HaxCookiesDK funny you mention that because my pump has actually died on my corsair AIO. For how long it's dead I don't know but the fans are pretty noisy af. I'm tempted by the Be Quiet cooler but now I can't remember how quiet my corsair was when it worked. Hence why the air cooler seemed like a decent option

It's good to see someone else using the 1800X. I definitely understand the value arguments for the other Ryzen chips, but the 1800X has been a bit under represented I think. That Aorus looks great with the BQ color scheme, but I'm curious if you feel it has any advantage over the Crosshair VI Hero? I went with the Crosshair, my first non-Gigabyte board in many years. I wish Gigabyte had stayed with their older, less gamery Ultra Durable branding in this lineup. I initially used a 1080 Ti Strix but the Strix didn't play nicely with my triple 4K setup (all Display Port screens) so I put a Titan X Pascal I had laying around in there for now, not sure what I'll do with the Strix. I used a 960 Pro 1TB instead of the 850 Evo and an NH-D15 instead of the DR3, but still big air. I think the only totally different parts, aside from the motherboard, are the 1000w EVGA Titanium PSU and the 64GB of Crucial memory, but otherwise pretty similar big air builds. I actually ALMOST got the Dark Base Pro 900 for this build but the Mastercase 5 had been calling out to me for awhile. Very pleasant build in it. Also, I didn't use my 1080 Ti Strix for long, but I don't recall the sag in mine being nearly as bad (and I definitely looked for it). I use a cheap Atlas brace for the really saggy cards though, only $20 on Amazon and looks pretty nice, so worth a shot. I actually always make sure to have an extra one on hand since you never really know in advance.

Fresh Avacado even if you had 2 PS4 pro’s, you couldn’t build a “badass thick chick” build with the money you got from selling them. You’d get around 500-700$ USD. And $700 is pushing it. That’s only enough to get a build that can barely run Fortnite at 80+ FPS on ultra settings. Source: have a $675 Ryzen 5 2600 build with a Radeon 580 and 16GB DDR4 RAM. It would have cost less but I decided to go with a fancier case and shelled out the extra $30.

Good lookin' build! Regarding your cooler's orientation, in my experience coolers do better when the air is flowing straight up. GPU heat load is inconsequential compared to the improved performance that comes with better flow. Moving air across a series of horizontal fins results in turbulence that impedes flow and thus lowers performance. Vertical fins give better cooling.

This build looks awesome. I wouldn't have thought I'd ever like an orange build. It's funny though that for a high end build beQuiet! only send you a Pure Power PSU and not Dark Power or at least Straight Power, I get that they want to promote the Pure Base 600 but again, not their "high end" segment. And last but not least while the Dark Rock is pretty awesome, even better would've been the dual tower Pro version. Anyway, great video. :)

If you want less sagg on the video card, have its power cables come from the top grommits rather than from below. If they are a bit taught, they can relieve some weight. *Mind Blown*
