When I became a fan of them back in 2014, they just kept pleasantly suprising me with the messages of their songs. Think about it. No More Dream, encouraging the youth to dream big, then Boy In Luv, something like falling in love for the first time with someone from school, and then War Of Hormone, where puberty takes place and you blame your hormones for the way youve been feeling stuff at this point of your life. I truly love that about BTS. I was only 11 when I met them back in 2014, and even until now, I feel like BTS literally made a song for each growing up phase. I can truly say that BTS has comforted, and have walked with me throughout my growing and adolescent years. It just feels sad that Im turning 19 this year, but thankfully, I have BTS' music to be with me as I enter adulthood now.

Yea, I was out of highschool in 2014, when I discovered BTS. I was already a kpop lover at the time but BTS had something that pulled me to them in 2014. I loved their message and personalities and been following ever since 😊🤗

I remember my brothers were in highschool when Boy In Luv and Danger came out in 2014, and they were so obsessed with BTS. They even practiced and wore eyeliner cuz they both liked Jungkook and Jimin and V's eyeliner from the music video. I tell ya, Boy In Luv and Danger is just crazy af. I love your reactions and I fuckin lost it when you joked that if you were a paper, and V licked his finger to go on the next page, thatll be the luckiest page ever I DIED 😂💀

This music was highly censured in South Korea at the time. BTS was accused of misoginistic lyrics and of treating women like an object. So sad. They sang only what boys of their age think about girls. Normal for us westerns but a big issue there.

I only discovered BTS in 2020 when I saw them on carpool karaoke during the pandemic and they literally saved my daughter from self destruction. We’ve seen them live 5x since (4 in LA concert and 1 in Las Vegas) 💜

The thing about bts being popular because they are attractive is just false in my opinion since all this kpop idols are so attractive but they aren't as popular bts are from a small company with no promotion so yeah music talent personality story and them being heavily involved in their music plays a big big part in their popularity let's be real here for me when I first started stanning them I didn't feel like I was attracted to them

I love their older stuff even if the boys cringe when they see themselves back them. Hobi was a street- style dancer. Jimin did some poppin but his specialty was contemporary dance. He was ripped as a youngster. That’s why he was the one to show his abs versus now … JK does that now. They signaled years in advance that they were a threat to the norm. Since you’re not new, I assume you’ve checked out their rapline’s mixtapes. Jk was very young…he went through puberty during their debut….how crazy was that (JK & Tae weren’t that much older)…. They got a lot of criticism for War of Hormones… I never understood why…it’s talking about young men’s war of hormones.😅

Old BTS music was great. I hate the crap they have put out after the Blood Sweat Tears Era. Used to be one of my top groups behind Big Bang and Seventeen but now they don't even make my top 10 list.

@@arya7864 I went and watched the two videos of these songs because I wanted to give you my opinion on them and give the songs a look to see if I would like them or not. So honest opinion while I liked the MV for Black Swan I really was not a fan of the song itself but I have heard worse songs from BTS. It isn't a bad song just isn't my style. But I can see why others would like it..Now my opinion on the On mv. I liked the song and the video it was much better than what they have been putting out but I still prefer the older stuff they did. So I gave both these songs a chance. I will not listen to Blackswan again but I would probably give On a listen again if it popped up on the radio or the Kpop station I listen to. But it won't be going on my Playlist. I just really kind of stopped listening to BTS cause I really didn't like the musical direction they were heading. I guess I will try in the future give the music a chance. Thanks for mentioning the two videos to me. It at least got me to watch them.
