Ordered from Amazon before I even finished the video and received them last night. Such an incredible tuning! So much bass, but I can still hear the sizzle up top of distorted guitars (BLS - Set You Free). Also listened to Alice in Chains - Nutshell and the bassline sounds amazing, and the acoustic guitar and Staley's voice aren't muddled at all. Yet another set from HBB that doesn't need EQ to sound good to my ears. I have meetings all day, but I'm half tempted to just listen to music instead! Great job dude!

I just got mine today. I immediately replaced the cable and tips, and I have to say that the sound is incredible for the price. I think it is better than the Mele head to head. Tight, prominent bass, great guitars, drums, and everything else sounds the way it should. My new budget fave - will recommend to anyone who is looking for a daily wear set. Very easy fun listening - just as you intended.

👍Sooo gooood !!! I received them today, and i already love them !!! You can be proud of this iem. I can't believe how good it is for this price...i'm a bit shocked cause last year i bought an iem that cost 40 times the price i bought this Qkz x HBB and sometime listening music on your iem is even more enjoyable (even for jazz, classical music, accoustic and orchestra) thanks to the bass and the way the iem is tuned. To me it is not perfect of course (vocals just a little bit too warm and the nozzle a little bit big ) but this QKZ X HBB has no contender on this price bracket. It is only my personal opinion. A very good iem for listening different types of music and to watch movies, with a good buid quality !!!

While burn-in's are fun, the heat from them might cause your ear to accumulate enough heat and cause permanent hearing damage.

An IEM for $20 that hits hard without pulling up the upper mids and treble to match? Sounds perfect for someone like me who likes hip hop and EDM but doesn’t listen to them enough (because of rock) to warrant a dedicated $150+ set. And I appreciate you mentioning the bass resolution upfront. Linsoul having US stock on Amazon Prime prior to your release video was a very smart move, too. Makes it a little too easy to ride the hype train… it should be chugging by my place on Wednesday. Hope this release goes great for you, man. You’ve done some killer collabs lately (Kai is just excellent), and it’s great to see the budget realm growing and improving so quickly.

I ordered these when this video came out and received the a few days ago. Absolute bangers. I keep reaching for them over my much more expensive stuff. You don’t need hi res files or an expensive dac to enjoy them just plug them into your dongle and hit play on a streaming app and enjoy a super fun set.

First 10 mins of listening have been amazing. This might be endgame for an ultra budget cheapskate like me. Really lovely technicals treble air etc in consideration of the slam you delivered. This is really done well CONGRATS. I've got almost all the budget stars from last 6 months or so and this is for sure not redundant and might be #1 vs all of them from zero, CRA and plus, chu, lea, zex pro, dq6s etc. I appreciate your attention to detail and integrity.

@@tiagorods. I do have and like ESX and qkz hbb crushes it and is far more versatile. I couldn't find a "doesn't sound good for..." category on Day 1 where ESX has marked weakness and oh that doesn't impress areas. This one definitely has more wow factor (euphonia?).

I have had this for months and as a standalone set, it is amazing, but it’s also wonderful to be able to contrast it against something like the salnotes zero or the Hola too. Really appreciate the wonderful warm sound it has.

@@gelo2703 this one is good by itself and the salnotes zero, though excellent too on it’s own, complement each other very well. The are both very flavorfully tuned, but they are tuned differently enough that you can get significantly different experiences out o the 2

@@gelo2703 it depends on what you want. In the subject of details you might feel the salnotes has slightly more details. I don’t feel either is more or less generally pleasant to listen with. Personally, if I had to get only 1 the HBB is less unpleasant in regards to long listening sessions

Absolutely beautiful set! Ultra budget bracket gets more crowded each month it feels. A bit of QA/QC talk here, I had my TE x Crinacle Zero come with both faceplates scratched up right out of the box. No friction marks on the cardboard box which sits on top of the IEMs in the box, so they most probably came like that from the factory. Sound wise they were fine, no channel imbalances, so I got a partial refund from SZA, for which I'm grateful, top notch customer service on their part.

Wow HBB I do not not how you pulled this one off, but after finally receiving them I'm totally shocked how well these sound, especially when you put a pair of wide bore silicon tips, the soundstage is on par with the S12, which makes it already above the 7hz Timeless, I prefer listening to these over the OH10s for the extra mid bass and less recessed vocals, These could be 100$ and still be a great deal. Absurd! Received these at the same time as the FD5's and these and the FD5s are in my routine only lately, OH10 and S12 gonna be catching dust. Looking forward to your future collabs HBB!

Just received those today and I'm quite mad tbh. Not mad at the iems (they are just incredible for the pricepoint) but mad at myself for having spend so much for audio gear when you can get this kind of sound for less than 20$. I mean, yes they don't have a soundstage comparable to what an hd800s can offer. They also aren't the best in term of build quality and I don't know how long they will last. They are maybe a bit overkill when it comes to low-end but in a good way (kinda wanted something when I need to make my brain numb with some heavy EDM/Hip-hop). If I had to pick one word for this pair, that would be "fun", an a lot of it. But overall those made me reconsider how "worth" audiophile grade gear really is...

Received mine yesterday. Super fast from Amazon. Usually IEMs take forever but Amazon seems to have stocked all the warehouses. First it really looks cool and has an interesting feel to it. It really thumps hard. I love the punchy sound. Great energy. It sounds different. It actually hits the bass harder then Crinicals which has a dedicated sub! Good soundstage. I think the driver is tuned to it's limit. The only music I can't listen with it is Pink Floyd and other more Mello stuff. To much mid bass for it. The drivers is pushed to it's technical limits I think. If HBB can do this with an lower range driver I can't wait to hear the more expensive ones. Unfortunately I have to watch my budget now. To many excellent IEMs this year!

@@BadGuyGoodAudioReviews I can nitpick a little. For example, Whole Lotta Love, Pure & Easy, and Bullet the Blue Sky need a little bit more in the top end. But that could be remedied on my iPhone by using the Acoustic or Treble Booster EQ preset. The Blon 03 didn’t respond as well to iPhone presets for me, when the upper end needed taming. On the other hand your QKZ handled these songs at higher volumes about perfect for my fragile little ears: Seven Nation Army, Airbag, Wolves Lower, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Third Stone from the Sun, I Found that Essence Rare, more. So thanks.

Even though these are similar in the bass region to the OH10s, I had to pick them up, clean design on them for some genres you do not always need theextra treble and resolution the OH10 and S12 give, you want something more laidback and bumping. Picked it with a nice thick copper cable with black QDC connectors, I'm sure It will look like a dope set. Only concern would be how the soundstage is, since I do love the OH10 quite wide stage for a bassy iem, unlike the more narrow S12 , but I'll found out once I get them. Thanks for creating something in this realm HBB, hopefully they will hit the market like the 7Hz Salnotes which I also love

Its Almost As If I Prayed For This. I Own A ZXN Set From QKZ, And As Much As It's Supposed To Be In The Underbelly Of The IEM World... The Low End Is A Diamond In The Rough, Always Envisioned They'd Evolve That With Tuning/Texture/Control, But You Know Small Company.. Fast Forward, Months Later.. With my luck I'll order them wait for 30 days and 2 days after receiving them they'll be available shipped from the US. I hate waiting for stuff from China. Nice review..very honest and to the point. I’ve got a question for you tho.. I’ve been listening to my”higher end IEM’s “ for some time now ..and last night I listened to an iem that was lower ranked in my iem stable ….and the difference was glaringly apparent 😯 How do you judge/ review an entry level iem once you’ve been exposed to something damn near S level …( Moondrop Variations btw)

I consider how it relates to stuff around it and 1-$200 dollars up. A lot of stuff is over priced but it's not ALL smoke and mirrors. Just some of it😁

Just got it and for $20 I am impressed! If midbass too much for you, then use wide bore tips to tone it down a little. But, modding them elevates this to next level. Poke a hole with needle in the vent next to the nozzle, then cover it with 500 mesh filter. This lowers the bass, making it sound more balanced. After mod, they sound similar in tonality as Olina OG with double mesh mod. Just a little less technical

QKZ is the cheapest iem company i know. Most of their stuff is ultra budget. I have the QK6 (got it for US$3) tho and its decent. This set has nice graphs tho. might worth a look

Currently have a 7hz Zero and Truthear X Crin Zero. Where would this play as a gaming IEM? Staging matters more than resolution and I want to feel the thump when I get thumped. This sounds like it might fit the bill. Would it?
