It clearly stands out that Lawrence is depressed, which is very interesting because in Issa's response and in the response of a lot of women to the character there has been a total lack of empathy. Instead of trying to help him she was being passive aggressive and eventually lost all his respect for him and cheated on him. In other words, Lawrence didn't man up like a good utility should. Older heads will recognise that 20 and 30 years ago the media was telling men to show their emotions, open up, be more vulnerable etc. Today the message is man up and if not you are either going to get cheated on or dumped. People need to recognise that with women there is no right answer and no proper way to be. You are dealing with entitled, emotional and solipsistic people who have no genuine concern for men (other than their sons) outside of the utility they provide.
