Cells are apparently LG MH1 cells based on what I can see when pausing the video. 3,200 mAh rated capacity and 10A continuous current draw. There isn't a lot of glue in there, so if the BMS is good, you can probably replace all the cells and rebuild the pack. It's unclear to me if you can replace the BMS with an off-the-shelf version; not sure if the battery is paired with the rest of the bike. I can however, confirm that if you simply connect B- and B+ from another battery to the bike it gives you a "NO BATTERY" error message on the display.

Hey soc ive got a turbo vado myself battery takes charge but same flashing little green light and bikes says not connected plus dash computer reads no motor no batt please help specialized wants yo charge me 1000 cause im out of warranty

I just purchased a used bike that uses this battery. Mine shows 89% healthy on the Mission Control software. New proprietary battery sells for $1000 which makes my $1500 used bike essentially throw away unless I can get a used battery or find some shop that can repair it. What options do I have?

Just bought a Vado two weeks ago too. My battery has still 100% but I bought a used second battery with 90% for 220€. I need the second one for longer drives. I've seen refurbishment between 400€ and 500€. The original Specilized prices are just stupid.

We changed the cells and now it doeant charge. The motherboard forgot the software :( sucks.... what can we do now?

Anyone know where I can find a battery like this for a decent price or does anyone know if its possible to use a different controller and battery with the motor? I am regretting purchasing this bike, its really over priced and of low quality.
