The new house is disgusting to say the least. What a lack of good taste! It's like a new crime to the once beautiful house that stood there. It's so sad that it was the setting of a horrible tragedy.

There are no photos of Manson in that house, because while he was certainly there, he was never inside. Anyone who has followed this case knows that.

Manson went to the house on Cielo Drive one afternoon looking for Terry Melcher…not knowing that Melcher no longer lived there. Sharon caught a glimpse of Charles outside the front of the house and sad something to Roman like “Who is the creepy looking man”? Roman and some friends there got rid of Manson and escorted him off the property. He likely saw Sharon when he came to the front door. I have no doubt that Manson was looking for Melcher, being that Melcher and one of The Beach Boys stole songs from Manson and published them. That’s why Manson was at the house that day. He was angry about his music being stolen and that’s why I think everyone in that house was killed.

Yes he did.... once seeing Sharon and was kicked off the property but also a time before Sharon lived there when Melcher was living there. I can't remember exactly who it was but it was one of Terry's friends, Manson was in the kitchen, sitting on the floor in front of the refrigerator and the friend needed to open the fridge to get a drink but Manson said nothing and would not move. "Pardon me, I need to get in there" but again, Manson said nothing and completely ignored him. "Terry, who's the weirdo in the kitchen? " oh that's just Charlie..........

🐇🕯I wished they had never torn down that house. The house exchanged hands many times and no one felt bad in it I would have lived there. Perfect Hollywood Hills home, now its Ugly as hell with that monsterous bldg in its place...Tku for sharing..

True. This place should have been turned into historical landmark. Slash museum people could pay to tour. Even pay for a Night in "The Tate house".... many would have payed for this piece of history. I know I would and probably many of you..

The story goes, that Manson and the people that lived there 6 months before. Had talked about making records together. These was people like beach boys Dennis Wilson , Terry Milcher producer. But they figured they could just side step Manson and use his recordings. Well that didn't work out. So Manson ordered his crew to go kill everyone in the house. Had no idea those guys had moved.

@outlawofga Manson knew that Melcher had moved but didn't care who lived there now, except they were rich and he wasn't. Most likely a bad drug deal. So they had to be killed.

Because u weren't home 😂.. if you'd do your homework/ Terry Melcher used to reside there and in the music industry. He wasn't interested in helping Manson...so Manson retaliated.
