Psychopath/Sociopath one or the other. Tex was and is. He’s the one who killed Sharon. In fact he actively participated in every murder the Manson Family did that we know of except Gary Hinman. Susan Atkins originally said that she participated in stabbing Sharon. Then in the late ‘70’s or early ‘80’s she changed her story and she told 2 different stories. One was that she didn’t stab Sharon but she did hold her down so Tex could stab her. The other story is that she didn’t harm anyone, that Tex killed Sharon by himself but that she still deserved to be punished because she was there and knew what was going on but she didn’t try to stop it. She didn’t leave the Tate property to look for and find a working phone to call police not did she notify police at any time after the murders. She did tell but not until she was in jail because of the police raid that happened because of stolen cars. But even then she didn’t tell police. She told her cellmates and they told police. In the early ‘80’s Tex said that he killed Sharon by himself and Susan wasn’t involved. But we really can’t believe much of anything they said because both of them were in the habit of lying and they were good at it.

But the thing is that they didn't immediately get rid of the bloody clothing. They first stopped to wash off with a hose in a yard up the road before continuing their journey. @America First They were not on LSD that night- that is a popular misconception. Charles Manson admits returning to the house in the early morning hours and attempted to hang Tate from the porch rafters, leaving pools of her blood on the flagstone. Also, the stab wounds to her back were on the left side, indicating that she fell onto her right side from the couch and was stabbed in that position. Stephen Parent was just an 18 year old kid when he was shot dead in his car by Tex Watson while he was attempting to leave the Cielo Drive property that night. His parents found out about their son's death when a police officer knocked on their door and gave them a business card with the number of the coroner's office on it - The officer then walked away. "That was one hell of a way to find out that our son was dead." reported his father later. The coroner's office, to this very day, has never apologized for the way they informed his family of their son's death. In fact this whole case highlighted the staggering incompetence, not only of the coroner's office, but the Los Angeles police department as a whole.

Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) purchased that house, and recorded The Downward Spiral in the home along with songs for Marlyn Manson’s first record. Reznor kept the door as a souvenir when he moved out.

Cheryl Fischer no he wasn’t, nor was anyone else other than her little sister Debra. Sharon’s sisters and her mother have always confirmed that Sharon was so hot and tired that night she had to call her sister Debra to cancel her sleepover at Sharon’s that very night.

@Mary Gebert: Your right, according to the book Helter Skelter. After the killings, naturally all kinds of stories were created regarding who had been invited there that night, who almost went there, who was so grateful they didn't go, yada yada yada. In reality, it was a quiet evening at home, and, yes, Sharon had told her younger sister to hold off on the visit. Actually, actress Joanna Pettet, a friend of Sharon's, had been there earlier in the day for lunch. She was the only celebrity who had been there that day.

@@57highland yeah, I always thought that everyone got it wrong. I think they were thinking of the party Sharon was going to have for Roman when he came back to America. I know Sharon was planning that. So I think when she was murdered, everyone just jumped to the conclusion that it might have been that night instead. I think they just were shocked and got it confused.

@@marygebert8057 plus, if as many people who have claimed that they were supposed to be there, then there would have been no murders because too many people would have been there. You know? There's just no way that all those people were supposed to be there.

Remember the Tate, LaBianca murders very well. I lived in Chatsworth from 1966-75 about 5 miles from Spahn Ranch. Here's a little story most people don't know. On the afternoon before the Tate murders, Jay Sebring ran into his old friend Steve McQueen in Beverly Hills and told him that they were having a get together at Sharon Tate's later on. Steve was good friends with Sharon as well, Steve said he and his old Lady would try to make it. When Steve told his old Lady about it, she said she didn't want to go, so they didn't. Had they went there would probably be two more victims to add to the other five, one of them being McQueen. Actually Steve lucked out twice, as Manson had a hit list of famous people he wanted to kill. McQueen's name was number 2 on the list, right underneath Frank Sinatra...

I'm wondering I'd they found clothing from all of them which would be proof how many of them were their. Just out of curiosity? Also what made them think they d have changed their clothes. ?
