Soft and rugged, filled with history. A stunning colour palette, could watch this film over and over again.

It is rare to have the opportunity to see inside a home/ masseria like this. The architect Aldo spoke very beautifully on the restoration and its context.

Yes a rare opportunity, such rich history of the Masseria dating back to the 17th century. Can you believe is was left abandoned for more than fifty years...?

Aldo has retained an equilibrium between the old and new to preserve the architectural history and honour the local culture so that guests to the Masseria feel a connection to the spirit of the locale.

The preservation of the building and its history is so special, and the way the colours interchange and transform with the light is truly magic ✨

As Aldo reflects in the feature; “It’s interesting the relationship between the natural light with this kind of material; every moment is a different colour and atmosphere”.

I would have loved to see this place. The video shots are either extreme close ups, or reflections, or a peeking view, or an aerial shot. And the flow of the images is so disjointed - with one frame to the next not making any sense. I feel like I only have a general impression of what it might look like. That’s annoying. Glad the videographer probably enjoyed it.
