The sinks are not practical. They are square. The corners are difficult to clean. This means that dirt accumulates very quickly and makes it very difficult to clean these corners. The marble slabs that form this sink are glued together with some kind of sealant. But if you have to constantly scrub at the corners while cleaning, then the sealant will break, which means that these sinks will have to be renovated very often and will therefore incur costs, and you still won't get the corners really clean. Sinks must have rounded corners. In addition, marble is not as resistant to chemicals, so you are limited in what you can use as cleaning products. Classic ceramics would be much better. The walls can still be decorated with marble.

I love many Yatches that I have seen on this channel. Love the tours, to see the way they are built. Sometimes I get overhelmed with so many rooms and decorations some of the yatches have. But this one is so quiet and easy on the eye and beautiful. I think it takes a person who knows about Yatches and this sea life to build something like this. It is minimalist but I think it is more relaxing to be in it than some others that probably has more rooms. Even though (it is minimalist), it has a lot of amenities and "toys" to entertain yourself around the sea. The outdoor shower feature is amazing. Thanks again for this amazing tour and interview with the owner, and glad to see Mikey back at it.

LoL!!😄 "everyone wants one?"projecting a little because they're so awesome?😉 because definitely not everyone loves boats🛥️ & the water like we do! & indeed super-yachts can be fun to dream about but not so much for the easily sea-sick and/or for those who very much prefer the high desert and/or the mountains. and I, myself, prefer my best friend has one rather then me!👍😆 since even if I was a billionaire & delegated, at the end of the day, it's still a huge responsibility: maintenance, chartering it out in between personal use to wisely support the costs..& also being responsible for the well being & safety of the captain(s) & crew. I'd want the m to always be safe, happy, respected & feel cared for.. as I was lucky enough to have a both wealthy & non-wealthy employers be that way for me & sadly, it's not always how bosses treat they're workers. but I prefer the simplicity of life & enjoying it..& I know myself well enough to get that I'd still not be relaxed as an owner, even with many employees to help support it all. plus, I'm the kind of person who'd want to know how to pilot the yacht myself & know how to do other basics re: the mechanics. even with a team & services for larger issues available around the world. I'm just weird like that.🙄 but having a basic knowledge for my own peace of mind, even if I never had to use it, would be important to me. & I have no desire to do such a study program. but in another life, if I did want that + if I knew I'd be relaxed with all the responsibilities of an owner, then that's how I'd know I'd want to own a super-yacht.😄 but I'd have no problem enjoying it if any of my best friends had one!🙂🧚🏾♀️

I always appreciate your tours and I'm enjoying the yacht tours too. You guys do great work. Just an FYI, you shouldn't confuse gross tonnage with a measure of weight. Gross tonnage is a measure of volume (not weight), so in order to build a larger or larger feeling yacht that is under a gross tonnage requirement, the key is probably more maximizing useful space and allowing expansion of decks, etc., rather than decreasing weight.

I mean this is obviously a large boat, but not many people could guess how many rooms & how much space is inside just based on the outward appearance. I was pleasantly surprised at how many lounging areas there were across the yacht, especially considering there's a pool & many dining areas. It's great how roomy all the staterooms seem, all the natural light coming in so u don't feel closed in. I love how large all the bathrooms are, even the day heads. I don’t think it is more difficult to build over 500 gt. It is simply that a lot more regulations come in to play. One is that you need a full time engineer permanently onboard over 500 gross tons. And gross tons is not the weight. It is similar to square meters or square feet except it adds height so is three dimensional. It is the volume of the internal space. You will find quite a few yachts that magically come in at 499 gross tons to get around those additional regulations that add quite a bit to construction and running costs. There are also a LOT of additional regulations that apply if you have more than 12 guest accommodation. So even very large yachts over 300 feet are often only built for 12 guests. Over that and you need things like proper life boats as opposed to inflatable life rafts. Just one example.

@jupiterjones37892 жыл бұрын
@@jazztheglass6139 This is a very rough estimate that gets you just a picture of what it costs, there are three very big variables that change that calculation: 1. Fuel - How fuel efficient is that yacht? How much do you move it? Do you move it at crossing speed or at full speed? In which country do you buy the fuel? There is a reason why many yachts sit in the marina all the time and why they sit in the marina in France more than other luxury destinations (fuel tax) 2. Personnel - Salaries carry widely but the number of personnel is the key question, it's not just playing then but also the managing company you probably have and flying personnel in and out. Younger stewards, stewardesses and deckhands often stay for a longer period, more experienced personnel have often a house and a family and strictly on rotation. You see big yachts with way too few people to handle everything 3. Depreciation - Your yacht ages at the beginning like your car: Meaning it loses value enormously at the beginning. Other than with cats you can make refits but those cost, too. There are apparently cases where people sold a yacht for now than they bought it, but those are exceptions My sources: A lot of yachting KZbin, especially Yachts for Sale falls sometimes about that stuff and I read it of curiosity publications for yacht personnel and managers where dealing with the owner's expectations was a big topic
@venom58092 жыл бұрын
@@jazztheglass6139 10% always seemed low to me. For example I had a 7,000 sq.ft house with a 2,000_ sq.ft guest house and I would estimate I spent about 5% of the cost of the house on an annual basis on the low end so a yacht has to be insane. Even when I used to have 30 ft powerboats they had 150 gallon tanks and got about 1-2 mpg.

Enes resmen terapistim oldun. Videolarını izlerken huzur buluyorum.... Çok profesyonel ve rahat anlatımlar yapıyorsun. Tarzın ruhumuza ve hayallerimize dokunuyor....

Thanks for the great vid Enes! I'm just wondering what the average annual maintenance cost is for a yacht such as this? Obviously, it depends massively on the amount of usage and add-on luxuries the owner decides to indulge in, but what is the estimate for mediocre average usage?

Rule of thumb: 10% of the purchase price is spent per year on maintenance, crew etc.

9:27 Nice Guy, works really hard to communicate in a foreign language. Impressed with the owner's work ethic, great yacht!

Too much minimalism equals cold and bland. Would rather have some variety. Interesting to know why this new 150ft boat is about less than half the price of similarly equipped vessels from other builders.

was thinking that it is really cheap...

Nobody does a tour like Enes. That’s why he’s getting exclusive to all these mega homes and yachts.

For some reason I love this boat more than the $100m boats you've toured.

This channel is cool because they're not trying to sell anything when giving a tour. They're just explaining things. I'm fine either way, but this just makes all the superlatives more genuine.
