Same with the house next door. Apart from the developers wasting money planting gardens where there will eventually be driveways, it's rather disingenuous as it gives the impression that your front garden is bigger and more attractive than it actually will be, and you don't see that you will probably have a shared driveway with your neighbours..

I love that you are showing these normal-priced houses! It’s fascinating seeing the differences between American and British homes. Our garages are much bigger (even in modest-sized US homes), bedrooms in the US tend to be at least 10-11 feet wide minimum, and stairs in the UK are much steeper (yikes!). I like how UK homes often have multiple living spaces. US homes also often have taller ceilings (at least newer ones).

Exactly, the design of this development is better than many modern characterless copy and paste buildings, i really do hope we do build our houses again as well as the victorians and the 30s did, with up to date living standards of course!

What's the price? It's a nice home for Outer London standards. Although that dining room and 2 of the bedrooms are tiny and some of the decoration details are hit and miss. But it all depends on the price you can't ask for more if the price is fair.

Usually not a fan of new-builds, but this one certainly takes the cake! Its exterior has so much character, the layout flows well (though I would prefer a door connecting both lounges directly), and each room's theme is so cute! I believe the floor plans are either for a different house or they are just mirrored. Take a look at this timestamp 0:56 and then the floorplan of the ground floor here 1:08 and you'll see what I mean. Iam also not sure how to park the car in the garage.

As a landscape gardener of 22 years,, new build houses are absolutely shocking and unfit for purpose... And as for the NHCB guarantee it isn't worth the paper its written on... The house builders put these up and I can name half a dozen that are substandard..Speed and profits outweigh good standards...

I like the lay out of the house, but honestly, the interior is way too dark for me. Even with the light coming in from the windows and all the lights on, it just felt like a dungeon! Still, decor can be changed and lightened up I guess 🤷‍♀️
