How do you compare this resort to the princess? We went to the princess a year ago and going to this one in 2 days ! Cant wait any tips?

This resort is a lot more busy, more things to do. We went to princess during covid so it was really quiet. Princess is adults only too, so even more quiet 😂 I thought the food was better at Planet Hollywood and the beach was more clean. Overall, I would say Planet Hollywood is more fun! Enjoy your trip!

Oh and I would go to the Italian restaurant for lunch. The menu items are the same, but no waiting for lunch time. Steak restaurant is the most popular, I would go get a buzzer thing and come back when your table is ready. No point in waiting at the restaurant in the afternoon.

How is the on site disco and party scene? Is this overall a chill relax sort of resort or they have fun activities, music throughout the day in the main pools area etc.?

There are LOTS of activities at night! I went with my mom only so i didn't go out super late. Id say it can be both chill relax or party depending on your trip. People get dressed up and there is definitely lots of music and drinking at night. The adults pool always has fun activities and music, I would say the family pools are more quiet. Hope that helps! :)

Thanks! 💕 Only place we got mosquito bites was at the outside stage area after sunset. For the shows, stay in the covered main area. During the day (by the pool or beach) we didn't have any issues. 😊

Hello from Vancouver! Thanks for the nice review of PH. I see you have also reviewed the Platinum Yucatan, which would you recommend for a single guy? I’m a bit of a foodie so the numerous restaurants at the PH seem appealing. I just don’t want to be bored and feel awkward.

Hello! Food was definitely better at PH :) My bf and I went to Platinum Yucatan during pandemic so it wasn't busy, but I'm sure it has picked up since. Platinum Yucatan is adults only which is a plus. If you go to Planet Hollywood by yourself, I recommend staying at the adults rooms so you get access to all the activities and adult only pool (away from families with small kids). Also lots of people hanging out at night.

Life is about making memories with the people you love very much. Always cherish your time with family. Most especially with your parents (mother). My beloved mother passed away in 1997 at age 56 and my father passed away in 2012 at age 83. Once they are gone, they are gone. Is the taxi Mafia still blocking the road leading to the airport?

We didn't notice any blocking on the bus ride to and from airport. There were taxi people at the airport, we just ignored them.

@@GolfwithShan They were blocking the road for a couple of days. The taxi take advantage and overcharge tourist like crazy. They were mad because they don't like competition now that they legalize Uber.
