This is the problem. If you watch very well the developer is probably Igbo, and the most buyers are likely Igbo. Do you know in the East we can't even get something like this. It's exhausting when you want to get already built house you can't get one. Even if you see, it's one without modern look. I don't know why our people don't build in the East.

It’s the fear of “snakes” I’ve been told. I also think Nigerians May associate greenery with “bushy” and village so they get rid of all green space thinking it makes a place look clean and neat but really it makes the place look hot, suffocating, and lacking a homely feel. Landscaping is everything! The moment the average Nigerian gets that into their skull, the better.

Am in ct. my advice is for you to do your due diligence on the actual company/builders. Agents only market properties, some are transparent. Not all Yes! Many of these sales are legit!!! I have successfully purchased a few and semi retired back and forth Lagos. Fact is the sooner you purchase, the best. Prices appraise higher by the day in Lagos.

I agree. More than half of the homes in various Lagos Island localities and Abuja are vacant and have been for years! And even many of the so called occupants are renting and don’t own their homes! Yet they still keep erecting houses only for the top 3% of the country. I guess there’s no value in building housing that’s truly affordable, which would be in the realm of N10,000,000 or less.
