What a living room. It’s my new favorite living room of all the prefab homes featured on your channel. And it has a great deck adjacent to the living room. 😍😍 I’m glad they included an indoor shower. The outdoor shower looks fun but some of us live in places with very cold winters. 🥶❄️ The kitchen has it all. Shut the side doors and it’s an indoor kitchen for sure. And the bedroom is great. I think I’d use the entrance from the living room more often than not. That’s a sweet looking deck to come home to every night. I can imagine it with lights at night. 🌙💡 Great video Kerry. Loved the walk around the exterior too. Can’t wait for the next video. 😎👍

Ignore the Trolls, Kerry. You rock, hopefully the guy will get back to you with a price. This is a very innovative unit. It seems strange that the center portion is described as outdoor, but thinking it's an insulation or a code thing. 🤔 Will be interesting to hear more about this builder going forward. Great design. Would be good to see one in-person to assess build quality. R-factor would be interesting to know, too.

That is such a great home. As you were talking, I was thinking, if someone doesn't want to use it as a true outside shower, they could use it for storage (I guess). Another thing, I was thinking is that I would put a carport on the side of the side entrance. That home is awesome, it feels so open, bright, great place to have people over and still not feel crowded. On a different note, I will sleep better knowing that you have a place where you could put your socks on. Whew! LOL (just kidding). But seriously, great job. extremely informative as always!

Malibu? That's on the sunny California coast-perfect for an outdoor shower. Not sure I would use it way up here in Washington where we get a free outdoor shower in the form of cold rain pretty often! And I'm pretty sure the deck that the kitchen is built on requires no freezing pipes weather and would not be easy or possible to heat in a cold snap. So, lovely as it is, the Malibu is probably not going to be my pick. Too far north of Malibu...I did like the sock station though, Kerry! Thanks for going all the way to LV to inform us. Love that about you!

I love everything about this home. Wow! If, of course, it comes as shown. If you ordered this, would it be a boring empty box? I can see see upcharges on every little detail. I love the outdoor shower too. I'd even use it in the northeast. Imagine steaming hot water in the middle of the snow, which would... um... turn to ice afterwards... oh well. Nice thought. My heart is still with Lloyoll Skali !!! Go Lloyoll !!!

I'm on the west coast of Canada and that outdoor shower would be filled with slugs much of the rainy year. Yuk! It's a gorgeous home although I suspect the price will put it out of my league. We love ya Kerry but the price is definitely a must have. Consider your bottom spanked, very gently:).

I think the space where the vanity is is too shallow to fit a stackable W/D. Considering how much space, including vertical space, there is around the king bed, maybe the dedicated closet could be where the stackable W/D could sit. Not ideal, I know, but I have seen them in bedrooms in other prefab/modular homes.

I live in Southern California. I'd definitely use the outdoor shower. What I don't like about it is the lean-to roof. The roof should be double pitched like the rest of the house. As it is, it looks like an afterthought. I would have put the outdoor shower on the living room side though since you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom anyway. Love the outdoor kitchen.

I live in the Seattle area and I think I would use an outdoor shower yearround. It's would be refreshing and it's nice to keep the moisture out of the house. I don't see a laundry space so that's a huge missing piece. Otherwise, I love this house!!!

Love this model! I would only change 2 things. Add stackable washer / dryer in kitchen on right side and windows that open out instead of garage door style. They wouldn't be good for winter weather. Need a good seal.

I think it's fine for a warm climate like CA, the Southwest, or Florida, but you wouldn't get much use out of the open spaces and the shower if you live in the North. For my region, I would make the kitchen just a regular kitchen, eliminate the extra shower and make that a private deck off the bedroom. I would also make the bed smaller and put more storage in there. Instead of the dressing table in the bathroom, I wish they could fit in a washer and dryer.

It’s nice. I’m not crazy about the layout from the standpoint of walking through a bathroom to the bedroom. But it was tricked out nicely. As you said, the light in this unit is pretty fantastic. And the high ceilings are nice. my question is how will it handle different climates particularly a hurricane zone. Cheers!

This is a real beauty, Kerry, very stylish and very livable... except for the missing laundry area, which might fit in the vanity area of the bathroom (where you want to change your socks 😁). Personally, I wouldn't use the outdoor shower but it would be great as a private deck area. Thanks for the great tour, but I'm sure the price is way out of reach for folks looking for affordable housing.

That place you want to put your socks on is a vanity. Women and some men put on makeup at and may have adjustable lighting above the main light switch. Nice selling feature, Not too hot on the garage door unless you surround the bar with a canopy and bug screens. Why doesn't it have a seal at the bottom? The outdoor shower is great if you live in a southern climate so it is usable most of the year. But, bugs, birds, and any 4 legged mammal you can think of will visit. Now if it was on a beach it could be a place to wash off before you go in from a swim or an outdoor muck room. As people are pointing out you need a laundry somewhere, so is that shower area included in the square foot?

Love the outdoor shower and that it adds privacy to the sliding glass door which I am not normally fond of. The garage door is nice if you live in a bugless climate. Hey Kerry, I was taking a 2nd look at the Cavco, but while I like it, the reason for the 2nd look is, that I noticed right next to the Cavco is what appears to be a garage with a roof deck. I'm sure it's not part of Cavco because you would have added it to the show. Do you know by chance which Company it was? I'm in the market for a garage with a roof deck that I can pair with the Zennihome I'm getting. Any info would be a huge help. 😄

kerry im not sure if the blur bloom glare stuff is coming from the light sources on your vids, its more noticeable with the interior shots and seems to be concentrated or coming from any light, it reminds me of when i try to take a photo with my cell phone but the camera is dirty, perhaps it is the result of some smudged lenses for you, maybe try using a microfiber cloth on them just before recording to see if it makes any difference

If anyone comes back to this video or comes across it I found some info after deep digging. The Malibu and their other unit they displayed at the show the Carmel are available as far as I know in Idaho and Utah. They will ship to other states or you can call your local dealer and see if it’s available or see if they’d help you get it delivered straight from the factory. The model as shown is $260k but starts around 185k. I got this info from Iron Horse park models who I found from a small channel KZbin couple that was driving down the highway and saw it on the side of the road lol.

Hey Kerry, I had no luck on the CAVCO site under. "Park Model, Malibu", finding the model you saw. They had a different roof and less modern window wall and no roll-up doors... no pricing. I'm emailing them, but their site shows no signs of this model that I could find. I wonder if you know the model number, and could post it, with whatever you found for the price. They have a LOT of variations on each model, but don't seem to show this model that you toured. They don't show front photos, or elevations, so it's hard to tell.
