At 73 and an owner of a Perazzi MX-8, I have no burning desire to take a trip to Italy and visit Perazzi. But were I 20 years younger (and had the money at that time!) . I would have loved to vacation there, go to Brescia and have a Perazzi "made to order" to fit me. What an experience that must be! And to attend this show in Caccia would be awesome as well.

Amazing video Johnny. You have infected me with the desire of small caliber shotguns. Do not know how it happened, but everywhere I turn, there is a gorgeous over and under, and side by side .410, and 28 gauge shotgun. I am in love with these gorgeous guns. Thank you, now I only need to give someone all my money, for a pretty shotgun in 28 gauge.

Interesting you opened with Giuseppe Rizzini and the BR110 Beccaccia Light 28 gauge. I received one last month, 2.28kg (5 lb. 0.4 oz). If anyone wonders why a BR110 Beccaccia Light? Just look at Italian woodcock hunting videos. Hunting in mountains and valleys on steep slopes. Similar cover as in Eastern Canada, just tilted 30 to 45 degrees. Great video. I highly recommend a visit to Italy. I want to Verona in February for the EOS. Fantastic city and show. So you flew BA LHR->PEG ?

I think you would like a BR550 for quail in open cover. The BR110 Beccaccia Light is good for tight cover and hunting woodcock the Italian way on 30-45 degree slopes.

I'd rather see the cook over the trick shooter. Many Americans love Italian food, and game cooking is very important here. I always think it's funny that browning doesn't bring some variants to the United States. Honestly though probably wouldn't use them. A lot of people still won't take autos to the Backcountry, lever action and bolt action have been the only things to earn it.
