Also folks should read up on Benin and what is happening there. They are one of the fastest growing economies on the continent and a massive transformation is happening there. Good for you for keeping an open mind. West Africa in general is less spiritually colonized than East Africa hence the reason they are the epicenter of the cultural renaissance of the continent. Vodun is the correct definition not Voodoo which is the bastardized version perpetuated by the colonizer. Even the term fetish is a colonial epithet.
