So many abandoned cocktail table arcade cabinets, kinda sad to see that, even if they weren't anything more than gambling related games installed in them.

Not going to lie, this place actually gave me chills which isn’t very easy for me, I love spooky things and places. I’m so glad you take safety precautions in places like this. Too often people explore and end up injured because of poor structural integrity. You did great with finding this creepy place! Loved seeing all the old stuff, but the vibe was….weird, and not in a nice way. Can’t wait to see more!

The only time I tried my hand at urbex in Japan it was an old house surrounded by trees that was half collapsed into the local river. I got halfway to the door when a dog started barking at me. Then I saw laundry on the line. Someone was still living there! I backed out of there like Homer through the hedge.

Those spiders are Joro Spiders. They're the yellow jacket equivalent to writing spiders: Look similar to their friendlier counterpart, are meaner, and more venomous, and in general are just jerks. They also can't write webs worth a damn.

Wow. I don't understand how it managed to get into this condition. Like, all the trash on the floor, especially in the office. You'd have to go in and toss all the stuff, create havoc. That seems like so much effort. Thank you for the tour, Norm!

people: Japan has this image of this perfect place but the reality is, there are just as many people who loot, smash, and destroy here it's not quite the level that you would see in other countries but people still take their chances!
@ScooterinAB2 ай бұрын
I suspect a lot of this was dumped here. Another comment suggested that the place might have already been in a lot of disrepair. Plus there's the "broken window effect," where disrepair brings more disrepair because people just think it must be fine to do.

Very interesting visit :) Thanks for that and happy to see more. But sad it has the same problem as all around the world. Known places get scavenged or vandalized. Can take a long time, or not so long. Like this location as it seems. And wouldn't be that bothered to visit such a place alone.

When I was staying in Hiroshima there were some shops that sold Trader Joe’s bags, the reusable ones, and some places used the paper bags as their own bags, even at Don Q. But at the end of the day who really knows haha it’s super wild either way.

$40k is pretty steep for the building, but for the land it sits on, it's not too bad. But... since that price doesn't include all the costs of tearing the place down, clearing the land, and constructing a new place, it's definitely way too much.
