These alarms must be running something like an emergency powergrid separate from the hotel lines with their own source
@drumstick745 ай бұрын
Yes! I wonder a lot about that!🤔 Perhaps it is running on very good batteries (lasting 18 years) or as wdl2499 says, it has a seperate power grid. --Which in itself is also odd, why would they deem that necessary? *Edit:* A user commented: "The tune is called Yuuyake Koyake. It's a popular children song which is used as a signal meaning that Japanese children finish school and go home." The mystery deepens!
@wdl24995 ай бұрын
@drumstick74 hi! I'm pretty sure this music alarm also acts as an emergency alarm. It's Japan, so they must have came up with separate power grids in case of earthquake or other catastrophe damaging the main lines and the emergency ones being independent, so it would continue its work. Great stuff!

Many abandoned hotels here in Japan are famous for the occurrence of "strange phenomena" and "ghosts"... The disappearance and tragic end of the owners and related people... Or the tragic end of ordinary people... There are quite a few properties where something like that has actually happened... Also, on a different note, there are cases where foreigners who visit Japan suddenly disappear. They don't tell anyone where they're going, they leave their luggage behind, they sneak out of their accommodation alone and go missing, or they disappear while walking in the mountains or on the beach. And there are many cases where even a large-scale search involving their families doesn't find any traces or clues. Foreigners who have no troubles in life, have clear dreams and goals, and are expected to do well by those around them suddenly disappear mysteriously... 🥶
