THIS is exactly what I wanted to pull off in our home - allowing my husband’s homeware and chosen furnishing to be the “art” - from the curves of the chairs, the deliberate textures and tones of the textiles and eggshell paints, the wood grains, terrazzo, and travertine, it’s the details that become conversation starters, like artwork would be 🤎🛖

This is beautiful and serene without doing that boring colorless look. I really want to see more interiors that do a modern take on African designs. Traditional is great but it's also cool to see what younger generations do when they incorporate their heritage and other elements that influence them.
