The kitchen is HUGE, compared to many I've seen in NY apartments. LOVE it. I would be thrilled to live there, especially with that gorgeous brick wall in the living area.

I love Sarah's home. I think that anyone who buys and is brave enough to live through a reno, let alone the expense of it, is made of stern stuff! I rent a 475 sq ft apartment, so my options are limited as far as construction goes, but I buy pieces that have drawers for that extra storage space and it works for me. Hey, I love her kitchen floor. Good for her saying that she was installing it for her and not re-sale. I would have done the same thing.

what a fabulous transformation! the exposed brick really is the star in the living room. smart contractor who made the bedroom closets high as they could go. she admits she's into tchotchkes. and she's got a few ;) but i do think she did a wonderful job of making it a real home. i could be the cat sleeping on that furry cat bed gazing into the disco ball all day long!

i share this on IG from time to time :) food bowls in the kitchen, water in the living room (i learned recently cats like it separate from food!). litter is in the bedroom, which i'm sure isn't for everyone, but it doesn't fit anywhere else.
